Rooms on the Beach Negril

Love this place so much and really looking forward to returning

Overall, our stay had its highs and lows. The rooms and continental breakfast are in need of updating. The lunches were delicious, kudos to the chef. The standout staff was Kimmy, whose exceptional service made our stay memorable. Angie also provided great assistance. Kimmy should be in charge of training other staff members, as some of the bar staff lacked friendliness and basic hospitality skills. However, the receptionists were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, with a gorgeous beach and unbeatable views. In summary you get what you pay for, so don’t expect to be wowed or anything but it is a standard urging on the side of basic 3 star hotel.

The location on the beach is excellent, staff are friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious, clean, with great air conditioning. The balcony on this visit unfortunately was a view of a neighbouring parking lot. The shower pressure was low but sufficient. The included continental breakfast was very good and the lunch specials were excellent value and delicious.

My husband and I went on our honeymoon everyone was so warm and welcoming it was perfect as it wasn’t busy season and we had such an amazing time it was so quiet and calm and peaceful the room was lovely for breakfast we had two lovely ladies Angella and Michelle Angella was a trainee but you cudnt know if she wasn’t wearing the name badge with trainee on it there service was exceptional front desk ladies were exceptional as well you get continental breakfast included in your package it was a lot if you are not a heavy eater you don’t need to order anything else I will definitely be planning my family trip back the large expensive hotels has nothing on rooms there bathroom was better than a 5 star hotel so much comfort and luxury

We enjoyed our two weeks in Negril at Rooms. It was half way along 7 mile beach, which meant we had the option of walking left or right! The beach is beautiful, lots of bars and restaurants along it. Different people told us they had stayed at several of the other places along the beach and that Rooms was the best & how lucky we were that it was our first choice. It is right on the beach and you can either sunbathe on the beach within the small wall of the hotel or take your sun-lounger and umbrella onto the main beach on the other side of the wall. The people who come up and down the beach selling their wares are all lovely and would leave you alone if you said “no thank you”. The Pattie man and the Bread man you must buy from, very tasty food! I love a bed & breakfast rather than an all inclusive, so that you have to venture out and immerse yourself in the culture of the locals. Which is why Rooms suited me. Rooms is Nextdoor to a great bar called Woodstock, (so ask for a room on the opposite side if you don’t like loud music, or take earplugs) . The beds were comfy. Our room was huge, upstairs facing the sea. We had to move rooms twice, one was due to having no aircon and the second because the shower tap was falling off. Otherwise it all went smoothly. We would definitely go back and stay here.

The property is clean and the service was good. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. However, the room was not cleaned. This was a surprise to us when we returned to the room.

Everything was great! Food was good. rooms were very clean. Friendly staff. Will be back next year.. Soon Come!!!!!

Lovely little hotel. perfect spot right on Negril 7 mile beach - right next to Woodstock which was great for live music & karaoke & Kamara's for delicious food. The rooms were spacious, with a good shower. The staff were freindly, the food was great, fresh fruit continental breakfast included. Will certainly return
