Adults Only, Hideaway at Royalton Negril Resort

Check in went bizarrely unhinged and mismanaged. The next day management visited to rectify the horror. Overall service was above average in most departments. I rebooked because nothing is perfect and amendments were offered.

Javovie was amazingly friendly in the gym, gave some great tips on fitness and overall gym progression. The gym is also very open, with plenty of space and open from 6am-8pm. If it had some more machines it would be the greatest hotel gym I’ve been too.

My trip to royalton Negril was good and I did yoga for the first time and I reviewed this class becauseit was the best . It was very relaxing and soothing and very comfortableto do i will be back soon . Thanks to Jovie for being very patient and kind with me my family enjoythe trip . I would definitely recommend . If you have not done yoga before please try it with Jovie when you visit Royalton negri jamaica 🇯🇲 🙏 😊 bless up .

Great spot to visit. Unclear on some peoples viewpoints of this resort, we stayed at the Diamond Club in building 2 and had a fantastic time. No food, drink, AC or lack of water issues as I had read. So glad I ignored the reviews and booked. The Diamond Club setup in building 1or2 is great with the beach bar/grill/washrooms right there. Pool too if you use it. Plus the Diamond club lounge for drinks or snacks. While there we did Tiki Pon Da Sea tour and that was great too. Checkin - 8 Food - 7. Hunter steak house took a while and wasn't good. We loved Zen and Grazie for breakfast. Otherwise we did the buffet. Bars - 8. Good drinks. Staff - 8 +. Great people and very friendly. Service - 7. Bar service was good, but due to the delay at Hunter and it took 25mins for breakfast I rated this a 7. Entertainment - 10. Best we have had. Bob Marley show rocked, White Party and Steel Drums were good. Resort - 8. It was a little larger than we usually visit. 7min stroll from lobby to our building 7; though you can do a shuttle from Diamond club if you so wish. Beach - 6. Nice beach at the end of Diamond Club where it flows to CN and Riu Tropical. Room - 9. No complaints, nice view. Pool - n/a. Didn't put a foot in it with good beach there as we are beach nuts. Commute/Travel - 6. 30min wait on bus, 2hr great ride to Negril. The trek is worth it but it does take a bit. Location - 5. It would be nice if we did Timair to Negril I guess. Quality/Price - 8. Average total - 7.5 Repeatable resort with Diamond Club. With butlers there to assist in times of need and to book dinners.

We’ve been to Jamaica 3 times and the Royalton and its staff was by far the best. All the staff were great, shout out Alpha, Garrison and Robert. Gym was always clean and tidy, Alpha, Garrison and Robert went the extra mile for us and made our holiday. The people of Jamaica make it a special place for sure . All the staff were very friendly and always go out of their way to make your experience better. We never felt pressured for tips.

My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights. We are both totally impressed by the quality & enjoyment of our stay. It’s by far, the nicest resort that we’ve ever experienced. Arrival: we used Nexus Tours to travel from the airport to the resort. We had purchased a shared shuttle ride to the Hideaway but since we were the only ones traveling to the resort, they put us in a private vehicle. Our driver was very personable & a safe driver. Upon arriving at the Hideaway, the staff offered us a refreshing cocktail & checked us in immediately. The Hideaway Royalton has a separate check-in from the main Royalton so we received personal attention from the staff. Since we booked our reservation thru Marriott & are Marriott members, they upgraded us to Diamond Club without asking. A great start to the stay! Within 2-3 minutes, the staff had us checked into our room with bags. Our room was spacious and luxurious. Every room faces the ocean. Ours was above the adult pool bar. The bathroom has a separate rooms for the toilet and the shower. The shower was spacious with 2 large shower heads. The bathroom also has an area with 2 sinks. We were well stocked with soap, shampoo & conditioner. The bed is extremely comfortable. I’ve never been to a Marriott related property where they don’t have a comfortable mattress. There’s plenty of drawer and closet space for dress clothes and everyday clothes. We had a large balcony which we used in the morning to drink our coffee or at night for sunsets. We thought the wi-fi was fast and dependable. We have nothing but praises for food and drink. We did eat at the buffet several times which we loved. We also ate at a number of the restaurants & always had an incredible meal. There was never a lack of choices or amount of food. The quality of the food & alcohol were top shelf. Reservations were never an issue with us - we had a personal rep since we were Diamond Club who would make our reservations upon request. The staff were accommodating and personable our entire trip! We never found anyone having a poor attitude. We’ve got to mention Kendra, Chad & Valrie from the Hideaway staff who went over & beyond to treat us like royalty. My wife and I enjoyed the yoga every morning during our visit. The instructors: Garrison, Andre & Jovi are very well trained. Whether you are a beginner, experienced or advanced, they would give you options during yoga to challenge yourself. They are all so personable, speak clearly and patient. Thank you to the entire yoga team! We mostly stayed on the Hideaway side. The Royalton side is busier with families. We prefer the adults only side for more peace and quiet. We never had any challenges finding a great location to soak up the sun whether at the beach or by the pool. Sometimes the pool would get a little loud with individuals who were enjoying more than their share of alcohol but no one ever got out of control. If you’re not into loud environment
