The hotel de Balcon is in an amazing location. Nestling next to the Balcon de europe and a small beach. All the staff are amazing and can't do enough to help with your stay. The rooms could do with a refresh especially the bathrooms, but having a sea facing room with a balcony certainly makes up for it. Nerja is the perfect holiday destination with plenty of cafe/restaurants to visit along with the tourist shops and main shops. A visit to the caves via the tourist train is a must as they really are quite spectacular. Would we visit again. Most certainly

Having already written a favourable review of this hotel, there is one thing I would add. We had a superb junior suite on floor 1 directly overlooking the beach. We like the sound of waves but appreciate that others won't. This is something to bear in mind when booking.

Perfectly situated on the Balcon. Sit on your balcony while watching the world go by and listen to the soothing music along with the sea in the evening to send you into a deep slumber. The bedrooms are so comfortable and clean, the food is exceptional along with the selection of wines. Everything is within easy walking distance, shops, restaurants and beaches. There is a very good bus service to a weekly market and a beautiful whitewashed village called Frigiliana. Also the ladies at the tourist information office are very helpful. Visit Nerja you’ll not regret it. ( but not in school holidays )

beautiful location and the room was lovely. The same coulnt be said for the breakfast, mostly cold but the staff excellent. the selection was good but the hot food was cold which was a pity. location excellent and you are within walking distance of everywhere.

I will tell anybody going to the hotel go it’s a fabulous hotel it’s so clean the staff are amazing BUT if you have booked Bed breakfast and evening meal and are expecting good food you WILL be very upset food dreadful . We ate out every night at extra cost to us breakfast tolerable but often tepid . If you are at all disabled you do not get dropped at reception and it’s a fair walk from drop off points we had to get dropped of lower level car park and it took up 15 mins to walk to hotel as my husband as several health conditions .

We loved this hotel, yes the rooms may look a little old fashioned but I think it’s just the colours they have chosen.
We were in a room without a balcony as all the sea view rooms had been sold & we still loved it & had a fantastic stay.
You cannot beat the location, the staff are all so nice, you get the sun all day, there’s a beach which is pretty much only used by hotel guests. We stayed B&B and breakfast and the restaurant were both incredible, the views were amazing. We are already looking to go back.

This is a very good hotel.
It's close to the center of Nerja, and you can use the parasols along the beach any time. There is a pool and jacuzzi on the 5th floor which you can use for free. The infinity pool is very satisfying.
The quality of the breakfast was also good.
There are a lot of elderly European guests.

Incredible views while eating lunch, the sea and mountains are stunning. The food was very nice and reasonably priced considering the location
