I will tell anybody going to the hotel go it’s a fabulous hotel it’s so clean the staff are amazing BUT if you have booked Bed breakfast and evening meal and are expecting good food you WILL be very upset food dreadful . We ate out every night at extra cost to us breakfast tolerable but often tepid . If you are at all disabled you do not get dropped at reception and it’s a fair walk from drop off points we had to get dropped of lower level car park and it took up 15 mins to walk to hotel as my husband as several health conditions .

We loved this hotel, yes the rooms may look a little old fashioned but I think it’s just the colours they have chosen.
We were in a room without a balcony as all the sea view rooms had been sold & we still loved it & had a fantastic stay.
You cannot beat the location, the staff are all so nice, you get the sun all day, there’s a beach which is pretty much only used by hotel guests. We stayed B&B and breakfast and the restaurant were both incredible, the views were amazing. We are already looking to go back.

This is a very good hotel.
It's close to the center of Nerja, and you can use the parasols along the beach any time. There is a pool and jacuzzi on the 5th floor which you can use for free. The infinity pool is very satisfying.
The quality of the breakfast was also good.
There are a lot of elderly European guests.

I highly recommend this hotel, the location is the best you will get when visiting Nerja. The rooms are a small bit dated but still nice, bed was comfortable. We had a partial sea room and this looked over the balcon de europa. It has a small but lovely infinity pool, a hot tub and the sun loungers are plentiful. The breakfast was good and the lunch was amazing. The facilities are excellent and the hotel is very clean.

It was our 3rd stay at the Balcon, we really like it there although would stay out of the centre during the high summer season due to people being on holiday, but this is not the hotels fault!! We have travelled to Nerja for almost 20 years at various times of the year. Staff are all very nice, friendly & helpful. We cannot understand bad comments about the breakfast - WHAT ARE THEY EXPECTING? The choice is absolutely excellent, various fresh fruit, cereals, fresh omelettes made to order, crepes again made to order, various fruit drinks, Buck’s Fizz, water bottles in an ice buckets, pastries, eggs, bacon, mushrooms + much more. Another silly comment was no entertainment, they obviously don’t read about the hotels before booking maybe they should try Benidorm! This hotel is classy. Thank you all for a fabulous much needed relaxing break. 👍👌👏👏👏👏

Perfect location with a very nice view both from the room and the breakfast room. Pleasant and service-oriented staff. A little old-fashioned decor in the rooms.

This hotel is in the best location and our room had a spectacular view of the ocean from our own private balcony. Easy to get to, great walkable location, delicious breakfast buffet (with gluten free and nondairy items), and wonderful room. Highly recommend!
