Thank you Linda for sorting us out. We had a great evenings sleep and you pointed us out local hostelry as well as pointing out the neighbouring filling station shop had sufficient food. Great value for money. There are many eateries nearby and a good base to explore the Née Forest.

Comfortable, clean and helpful staff. A good stop-over to stay when travelling to board a cruise ship at Southampton. It' easy to miss the entrance to this hotel when travelling in darkness on the A31 and then have to turn back at a roundabout 7 miles further on.

Clean, comfortable room. Good value for money. Fast check-in. Traffic noise is a consideration but it was something we were aware of having stayed several times before.

Okay, so the location, in layby on a main road, isn't the most pleasant, but we knew that before we booked it. It is noisy but the aircon is good so if you can sleep with the windows closed you'll be fine. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We took our puppy, and Graham, who was housekeeping, was so welcoming and friendly to him and gave us some brilliant recommendations for visiting Bucklers Hard and Beaulieu. May, on reception was also very friendly and helpful. Showing us the path to walk to Minstead and also when my back was bad, arranging for us to move rooms to be more comfortable. Graham and May really made our visit very pleasant, well worth it.

One of my favourite travelodges. So easy to get to & never any issues with parking. Staff are so friendly. It's not often you see the same staff one year later but I recognised them from last February including the lovely manager. Ideal stopover if flying from Bournemouth airport.

Lovely hotel, comfortable bed and pillows, large room and ample desk space with 2 comfortable armchairs. The bathroom was very clean, well maintained, good lighting and curtains that kept the light out. Tea and coffee facilities and the interior of the room was really quiet. Outside the hotel is the real issue. Even though one of the A31 dual carriageways was shut overnight, the noise outside was awful. The "double glazing" is ineffective, the thundering of the traffic outside makes sleeping difficult. There are ways of reducing the outside noise and I'm not sure why this hasn't been tried.

5th of May till the 9th, I stayed here for work, I was staying here whilst photographing the new forest and the surrounding nature. This gave me a chance to speak to some of the staff and it was nice to see some of the local knowledge in play. Kirsty was especially helpful, I think I saw her every day and I always saw her treat staff with respect whilst there always being a tone of playful friendliness coming from her. The hotel itself is possibly In the worst place possible unless you are passing through and need to sleep for one night or happen to be photographing the new forest! Due to the location i would advise planning ahead when it comes to food plans. For the first past of the week I was in a room facing the car park, due to a maintenance issue (no one's fault, just poor timing) I ended out being moved to a room which was facing the motorway, I won't lie I was not excited about this prospect of the night time noise, but if we are being honest, I hyped it up worse than it was, it was a case of worrying about the sky falling was more damaging than the sky falling! I have some follow up work in the area next month, a little closer to Ringwood than stoney cross but I've already asked to stay here again, I'm happy with the extra drive and to take the devil you know!

This was a good hotel, it's location is pretty poor but I knew this when booking. The staff at this hotel obviously know the negatives of the hotel, and they all seem to work very hard to accentuate the positives. The room we was in was very clean, the staff are incredibly polite and friendly!
