There it’s pet friendly and no charge for dogs (that’s fantastic) a big bonus for me so why I come here many time! The room it’s clean, very comfy and relaxing! "What a real gem hidden away in the New Forest! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home thanks to the lovely, welcoming staff who couldn't do enough for us. The atmosphere is warm and homely, with all those little touches that make a place feel extra special. The food was excellent – beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. Combined with the attentive service and charming surroundings, it made for a truly memorable experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning. "Lovely, homely Premier Inn (one of my favourites to date) a little tired in places but it didn’t matter. Location is great, big quiet car park, surrounded by trees. Room was clean and felt spacious with a comfy mattress and excellent shower. Breakfasts were excellent - well cooked and of a good quality and evening meals were also of the same standard and generous. The staff were absolutely fantastic, so welcoming and friendly a credit to Premier Inn and so important to the overall homely feel. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again if in the area. Special mention to Matthew on reception who made us feel so welcome."

"We used The retreat as a one night stop over, and didn't use any of the other amenities, so can't speak to them, but the stay we had ticked all the boxes. Really easy to get into the room, nice spacious room over looking the fields. Great bath and shower ensuite. TV easy to use etc. Quiet, Clean, and comfortable bed & room. Warm room and hot water. And good price! The restaurant and cafe looked nice but we didn't use them."

"We had a very relaxing 3 day stay in Widgeon Lodge along with friends. Everything we needed was in the lodge, which was very clean and tidy. On arrival we had fresh bread and a lovely cake very kindly left for us. Over looking a lovely lake we enjoyed watching the squirrels, green woodpecker and loads of other wildlife. Even though the weather was a little damp it didnt stop us enjoying the very warm hot tub. Now we know how good the lodges are we will be back and very highly likely to recommend to as many people we know."
