Very friendly, feels like home, lived here for 3 weeks last February for classes, and this year I brought my kids to Yale and continued to live here

First of all, the location of the hotel is very good. There are many restaurant options in the few blocks before and after the main road at the entrance. It is also very close to walk to various parts of the university. Secondly, although the hotel lobby is not big, it has many comfortable sofas and the decoration is quite warm. When I went there, it happened to be during the Model United Nations competition. Players from all over the world were having lively discussions there. There was also a thoughtful computer in the lobby. Computers, I see people using them often, are indeed needed sometimes. Although the room is not big, it is not cramped either. I booked a double bed room and the bed is quite comfortable. I wonder if the reason why I don’t feel jet lag is because of the bed😏 There is a long desk in the room, which is convenient for me I deal with some work matters every night. There is a heating cabinet next to the sofa. It looks unprepossessing, but it is very practical. On this snowy day, I will wring out the small items that need to be washed and put them on it to dry, and then put them on it the next day. Once it’s dry, dry it before changing clothes. It’ll still be warm when you put it on😄 It’s like I’ve unlocked a new function. The service is just right. They don't bother me or are overly enthusiastic. However, they can help me in time when needed. They also clean the room and change towels regularly every day (I have seen some comments before that it is not provided every day after staying in a foreign hotel). of these services)

Very, very close to Yale, just next to the old campus. Nice rooms and facilities. The front desk, restaurant, valet and other services are all good. Coffee and refreshments are provided. The young girl at the front desk is pretty~

The location is very central, easy to go everywhere, and there is an art gallery next to it, which is worth a visit. The coffee bar in the lobby has a very good environment. The room is very clean, bright and comfortable. The bathroom area is slightly small.

The room is very good, but there is an exhaust vent outside the window on the lower floor that is a bit loud and the sound insulation is average. The hotel restaurant is not recommended. Dinner is average and the wait for food is long.

This was a truly 5* experience. The rooms are lovely, the situation was perfect for our business needs (a series of meetings at Yale) but also close to shopping areas. The thing that I would really like to highlight is the staff, who were beyond helpful, from the smallest request to the greatest. They were truly tested when a colleague of ours fell seriously ill and made quite a traumatic experience less so with their kindness, thoughtfulness and practicality. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

This is a fine hotel, but I would recommend the Graduate next door over it. The advantage of this hotel is the desk in the room, but the graduate has nicer rooms, including the bathroom, refrigerators, more character and better common spaces. Rooms here are worn in places.

The location is excellent as are the rooms and lobby and staff. My only deduction is for the presence of a commercial espresso machine in the lobby but nobody actually trained to use it. After several efforts by the check-in staff to make a latte by boiling the milk, I walked two doors down to Poindexter Coffee in the Graduate Hotel and had a perfectly crafted flat white with beautiful latte art. This probably seems like a petty complaint but anyone serious about espressso knows what I’m talking about. Anyway, the hotel is great and the complimentary drip coffee is good.
