"This American chain hotel is a 30-minute walk from the New Haven bus station and about a 20-minute walk from the Yale University clock tower and art gallery. The Yale University Art Gallery is free and boasts a stunning collection, including original works by Van Gogh, Picasso, and Monet, as well as a variety of other items, rivaling the Louvre. It's free and reservations are not required, so it's easy to find, and free storage is available, making it a great place for a day trip. The front desk service was average, and I didn't enjoy the dinner."

"Frankly worst hotel experience ever! We were in the Premium King Room, our room was directly across 2 bars. We can clearly hear the music (the bass was torturing), all the people talking outside the bar, motor cycles or car engine sounds. The worst part is they don’t happen until late at night, which usually starts at 11pm and ends at 3-4pm. We arrived very late the first night, we were all tired after our flight, and we were only staying for 2 nights. So didn’t bother to change room. But I regret not doing so, the second night was even worse. A huge bombing sound from across the street woke us up at 2:24am. I thought something went wrong downstairs. But when I walked to the window, I heard all the people outside the bar still laughing and talking and saying it was just a fire cracker (can you tell how think their window and wall are, I can hear everything down the street). I swear it sounded like a bomb, much louder than a gun shot. I complained to Trip.com and I was told they didn’t get any reply from the hotel. And after a few hours, I was told the hotel refused to do anything about it. I totally understand why the hotel has an armed guard near the hotel entrance at night. It’s not the best area to stay in town. And there’s a part of the window that doesn’t have curtains. You can’t sleep well in this hotel if you are a light sleeper."

"Just a heads-up, even if you book a specific room type on Ctrip, the hotel might change it on the spot due to being overbooked, without even blinking an eye. I recommend Ctrip stops featuring this hotel. We don't have the energy to argue with people every day, sigh... Also, the soundproofing is terrible."

"The air circulation was not good. I changed to a two-bed room at night and it was more comfortable. There was no window facing the outside. The service was average. The facilities were relatively new. They were all induction. However, the TV did not have a projection screen. There was no place to walk the dog. The parking lot was very small. You had to go to IKEA to park."

"Great lounge area, but would have loved if there was some sort of continental breakfast. Even if it was just pastries and cereal (without having to buy cereal and milk separately). Also, didn’t really like that the fan and light in the bathroom were connected. So I couldn’t just have the light on."
