"This hotel offers fantastic value for money. The only minor downside is its distance from the train station, but everything else was excellent and definitely exceeded my expectations. It's only a little over a 20-minute walk to Yale."
"The decoration is very tasteful, the service is also very good, the room has a small kitchen bar, microwave, refrigerator, induction cooker and tableware are all available. There is a free washing machine and dryer on the 6th floor. The location is very good, a few minutes drive from the train station and only ten minutes walk to Yale University. There is a popular ice cream shop nearby."
"Location was perfect for us with quick access to Yale University and its nearby restaurants and shopping areas. Housekeeping services are minimum (just refills of amenities, exchange of towels, and garbage emptying) which fit us perfectly.
Only downside is no restaurant but considering the location it was no problem - plus there is a lobby shop for those “emergencies” when you don’t want to walk anywhere.
All staff were very kind and service minded."
"It costs $12-13 to take a taxi from the train station. It is within walking distance of Yale University. The check-in service is good. We were given the room at 12 noon. The facilities in the room are a bit old and the toilet is small."
"Location is perfect heart of the city. Just walk by Yale University. Rooms are big and very clean. Bathroom is very clear and complete with all needed amenities. Front desk always very friendly and polite. It’s my second time living in Omni Hotel New Haven and will choose again for my next trip.
For those who they love nightlife must live here because it’s just cross the road have best nightlife bars and clubs.
Perfect Hotel I Recommend 100%"
"The Hotel Marcel was quite Modern and very aesthetically pleasing! Upon arrival, I could tell this hotel was full of charm and personality. I especially enjoyed my stay in a corner suite with a King bed. The bathroom was very luxurious and I felt as though it was something out of a magazine. Overall, my stay was very comfortable and affordable.
If I had one gripe it would be that the interior of the room was very dim in lighting even when the lights were fully on (touch censored lighting was available). I wish more light was able to be in the room."
"This hotel is very special. The lobby is a bookstore from the English period. It is very cozy and has no commercial flavor. The guests here are also very polite. They come and go quietly or sit there to read. The room is very large, decorated in the French style of the English colonial period, with elegant blue tones. The bathroom is surprisingly large, and the kettle for boiling water is also very unique. I totally recommend friends to stay and experience it. Next to it is the Art Gallery and Yale U, which are within walking distance. Love it!"
"First of all, the location of the hotel is very good. There are many restaurant options in the few blocks before and after the main road at the entrance. It is also very close to walk to various parts of the university. Secondly, although the hotel lobby is not big, it has many comfortable sofas and the decoration is quite warm. When I went there, it happened to be during the Model United Nations competition. Players from all over the world were having lively discussions there. There was also a thoughtful computer in the lobby. Computers, I see people using them often, are indeed needed sometimes. Although the room is not big, it is not cramped either. I booked a double bed room and the bed is quite comfortable. I wonder if the reason why I don’t feel jet lag is because of the bed😏 There is a long desk in the room, which is convenient for me I deal with some work matters every night. There is a heating cabinet next to the sofa. It looks unprepossessing, but it is very practical. On this snowy day, I will wring out the small items that need to be washed and put them on it to dry, and then put them on it the next day. Once it’s dry, dry it before changing clothes. It’ll still be warm when you put it on😄 It’s like I’ve unlocked a new function. The service is just right. They don't bother me or are overly enthusiastic. However, they can help me in time when needed. They also clean the room and change towels regularly every day (I have seen some comments before that it is not provided every day after staying in a foreign hotel). of these services)"
