The location is a few minutes away from the old street, so children can walk there, but it is really hidden, so you need to do some research to find the B&B.
The accommodation price is very cheap, the CP value is high, there is a dehumidifier in the room so it doesn't look damp on the mountain, and the bed is soft and easy to sleep on.

I stayed at this homestay for one night and I was satisfied with the experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and good value for money. The homestay also offered tour and massage services, which I appreciated. The only downside was the location, which was not very convenient for elderly people or those with large luggage. We only had bagpacks so no issue.
There were a lot of stairs to climb and the homestay was not easy to find. However, the homestay provided detailed directions and was responsive to my messages. Overall, I would recommend this homestay for a short stay.

Very hard to find the exact location, need to contact them in advanve especially you have big luggage so that they can arrange the pick up service for you, but we did not know so the experience was bad. They provided most of the required facilities so except for the location, overall still okay

It was difficult to find the location, but when I contacted them, they kindly told me the location.
I also appreciated that they kindly accommodated my early check-in.
This was very helpful, especially as I was soaked in the rain.
Also, the bed was very comfortable and I had the best night's sleep!

We stayed at this hotel for one night. Everything was good. The place is a little difficult to find. The wifi password is the hotel’s phone number. We didn’t buy a SIM card when we were in Taiwan, so it was not easy to communicate with the front desk without wifi. There is a YouTube video on how to go to the hotel to and from the old street. You should ask for that video ahead of your check in.

We did not follow the Google Map, and carried a large suitcase of 20kg and walked up more than 10 flights of stairs! Most of the stairs in the mountain city are slopes, and it is not easy to walk with suitcases. You can drive by yourself or call a taxi, and the customer service will give you detailed route guidance, so you don’t have to look for it yourself. The hygiene of the homestay is good, the place is not too big, and it is a bit difficult to put the suitcases. When you are about to arrive, you need to find the customer service first, because the customer service is not always in the hotel, so you have to notify a little earlier before checking in. The hot water and the TV are both normal. There is a combination lock for entering the door and a combination lock for entering the room. It takes 5 minutes to go down the stairs to reach Jiufen Old Street. There is a taxi service when you leave, and you can go everywhere by sitting directly at Ruifang Station.
