My daughter has an apartment not too far from the Allen hotel, I figured this will be the most suitable stay for my husband and I when visiting her so I had high hopes. For starters, I was not going to write a review about my experience until I checked the reviews and seen the FRAUD Genny have so many good ones. I don't know how often it is checked by management but judging Liza's customer service skills I do not doubt that she is on top of her work. Upon arrival Genny checked us in and promised to waive the incidental fees if we gave her a review, we politely declined due to being in a rush. Later on that day she was at the desk ranting, every encounter with her wasn't a good one, her attitude and demeanor is absolutely disgusting my husband and I were in absolute shock. The rest of the staff did amazing especially Alzura, she was so sweet and kind, as well as super empathetic. The next day my husband lost his key and approached Genny at the desk, she called him effing stupid for losing his key. He had told me Liza the manager approached him after hearing pieces of the encounter. She apologized to him and made him a key. In the mean time while speaking to my husband in the lobby the other manager Davis walks in and she starts cursing everyone out saying he is effing fired. Liza was kind and gave us some sort of refund for our stay and promised to accommodate us in the future. Thankful the management was very kind and tried their best to make the situation diffuse. I just want everyone to ask for Liza, she has been present my entire stay and I was appalled when she told me her age. She is so young and fills really big shoes. I recommend staying here because of management and the rest of the staff, also great location and very comfortable beds. We also came on new years and got to see the dragon walk through the hotel, awesome experience.
