Our first stay at One Cloud and can’t wait to go back. We got a fantastic welcome from Gillian on the front desk and were thrilled to hear we had an upgrade and drinks vouchers to celebrate my daughters birthday. The room was spacious and super clean and we had the most amazing view. There was no street noise. The area is so convenient as we walked to the South Street Seaport area and there are so many subway and path connections from the nearby WTC station. Every staff member we encountered was so helpful and courteous. Our 6 night stay was our best NY hotel stay to date and it was incredible value.

Nebenan wurde das Hochhaus saniert und es war eine Baustelle. Wer etwas leises sucht, darf aber auch nicht nach New York gehen. Dafür kann das Hotel nichts und es ist in Manhattan überall laut.
Als deutsche Gäste waren die ein oder anderen europäischen Standards durch den Mutterkonzern „Motel One“ erkennbar. Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück, tolle Zimmer und sehr nettes Personal. Das Hotel empfehlen wir unbedingt auch weiter. 1 Min. zum Ground Zero ist unschlagbar.

We stayed here to attend a HS graduation. The location is interesting. The room configuration was very strange, probably because this building was not originally designed as a hotel. This was nothing special. There are better hotels in the area at similar prices.

We have stayed here a few time, the location and price keeps us coming back. Needs a better food menu and liquor selection. The entrance to hotel is awful looking, hopefully in the future it’s better.

Too much bad
Just know they will not refund you. Call n say they will give u a free night stay somewhere else...which is a lie and if u are staying more than 1 day such as me n my family stay they will let u out of your remaining day's and provided excellent customers service is non existing.

Nice enough hotel. I'm ok with aa smaller room as long as there are places to set down stuff. This room doesn't have that. The AC was good but in the morning, seemed to have gone off and I woke up sweating. I'd asked for a quiet room away from elevators as I was planning on going to bed early and was working early the next day. The room they gave me was right across from the elevator, which ding-dinged constantly. I went to ask for a room change and the only option they would give me was something on a lower floor facing the street. Said they had nothing left. Meanwhile, all through the night, people kept checking in. All in all not a bad stay, not the best.

This was my second time staying in this hotel but the first since their construction was done. The rooms are comfortable as are the beds and the bathrooms are modern. For the size of the rooms, they feel spacious compared to some other NYC hotels. It’s a good location if you don’t want to be right in the action but are able to get there easily by subway. There are tons of rooftop bars in the area. The hotel bar is great and was not open last time I was there. Perfect for a pre-dinner cocktail or a nightcap.
