Die Freundlichkeit und der Service des Personals ist wirklich hervorragend. Das Hotel ist in einem guten Zustand. Das Zimmer ist für New Yorker Verhältnisse groß genug. Die Umgebung ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig (die Bowery Mission ist in unmittelbarer Nähe) aber aus meiner Sicht sicher.
Die U-Bahn Anbindung ist gut. Einige Linien sind gut zu erreichen.
Alles in allem kann man das Hotel absolut empfehlen.

Was in the city sightseeing and wanted to go to the Rooftop Bar (was around 4:15) we checked at the front desk to see if we could do so. She said she needed to go ask someone which she did, but when coming back she proceed to help someone else with the same question. Another employee then helped us, we needed to show ID and get hand stamped. Went up to bar. Only one other couple was there (they act like they need to see if there is enough room for us to go there). Bartender waits on us and then after they wait on 3 other people a different bartender makes our drinks. Ask if we can pay cash. He says yes, but they have no change. Then when paying other bartender tells us they don't take cash. Drink was good but super tiny and my glass had a chip in it. Would I go back again? Nope! Did have nice views but super slow service and there was barely anyone there! Hate to see what they do when they are busy!

The public/common spaces are very good and nice. If you are traveling and need to get some some work done you will be very pleased with the canteen. However, which the room was very clean and good technology, the lack of space and privacy didn't work well for us. The lack of space is somewhat expected in NYC but I think the washroom deserves a proper door room for some privacy.

Citizen M hotels are always consistent but this one has a particularly spacious lounge area and a rooftop bar with great views. That space is very noisy and intended for the general public obviously . They should also improve their wine selection - the white was sour and vinegary! breakfast was very good with bagels and decent coffee. Staff were very helpful and nice. The location is convenient for Chinatown, Soho and public transport up the east side. In theory one can get a subway to JFK sky train from the Bowery stop nearby. So sorry we did not do this as the 2+ hours in a taxi was horrendous. Traffic in NYC is very very bad- no effort being made to encourage a more sustainable environment . Plenty of good restaurants nearby

Tolle Lage, coole Einrichtung, ich hatte im 17. Stock eine Topaussicht aufs One World Trade Center, superbequemes Bett, Zimmer ist sehr praktisch eingerichtet, für eine Person perfekt.
