I arrived and the hotel was closed for renovations and I was not notified.
They wanted to send us to queens. We had to fight for no. There they placed us in a hotel of theirs on 16e of 30 st, 5 blocks away. The Best Western Empire state with tiny rooms and that even with our requests, they cleaned only 1 day in 7 days, we had to claim for towels, garbage removal, bad and tiny. I bought a room with a sofa and daily cleaning and it did not happen

Since I was staying alone after arriving in New York, I chose this hotel as a cost-effective hotel. Since it was a room to be used alone, I didn't think much about the view. Unfortunately, the soundproofing is a bit poor, and the room itself is a bit dark. Still, it's not bad to move around Manhattan, and it's close to Koreatown, so it was okay to stay alone. The front desk is friendly and has all the amenities!

No complaints about location. Easy subway access in addition to being walkable to most of where we wanted to go. Rooms were small as mentioned, but this is not a deal breaker for me. We were on the backside of the hotel and found the room very quiet. The main problem with this hotel for me is that it seems the ac is turned off in the winter and the room was stifling hot. We turned off the heat in the room immediately, but it was never a comfortable temperature during our 4 night stay. We did ask the gentleman at the front desk if there was a way to make the room cooler or if they had a fan, but we were told no.

Muy bueno todo, aunque piezas muy pequeñas y nos cobraron por dejar las valijas abajo un par de horas hasta ir al aeropuerto. Las piezas estaban limpias y las camas muy cómodas, para lo que fue nuestro viaje nos sirvió mucho por la ubicación que es muy buena.

DO NOT BOOK!!! Showed up and it was some location for luggage check and looked like a hostel. Told they moved us to a different hotel. We booked because of location convenience and love to stay in this location. We were moved over a mile away. The hotel is nice but when you look up the rates at the new hotel they are half of what we booked and everyone says they can’t do anything about the price. We even called customer service and they asked us what can we do? We will never stay at a BW again.
