Property and the rooms in very good shape. Ted at the front desk show the true meaning of hospitality. All the staff I encountered were great and helpful. Will definitely be coming back when I visit the big apple.

Great location, good bar, everything els is average, unless you get a room facing the public library there are so many better options to stay at.

Located east facing Bryant park and the city library you are blocks from best shopping, times square, top restaurants and about a mile south of central park. Ideal location for walking and seeing best of what midtown Manhattan has to offer. I enjoyed being able to just get up and go about the city from a safe and very scenic spot. I'd stay here again for sure.

The house keeping service was pathetic. We asked for a kettle and it took over 30 mins with reminders. Luggage took even longer and the wait for breakfast was about half an hour as well even though it wasn’t full to capacity. They seem short staffed and not well trained. The staff making the rooms were very polite and friendly and the check in staff was ok but they seemed like they were the only ones running around with doing things. Not worth the money.

This is one of our favorite New York hotels. The location is very convenient to Grand Central (and much better than the Hyatt next to Grand Central). The rooms are modern and clean with awesome showers. If you splurge for a Wellness Suite the soaker tub is fabulous. Beds are comfortable. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The only downside we found is that there is no coffee in the room. There is free coffee in the morning until 10 am, but if you're in the North tower it is a bit of a hike to the lobby - especially if you wanted to hang out in bed a bit longer.

Andaz never disappoints, I stayed in Andaz while in Abu Dhabi and service was amazing and that was the reason I chose Andaz in NYC. The cleanliness and customer service and not to mention specious rooms is what attracted me to this hotel

Overall experience was great. Excellent location. We had the chance to be staying in the rooms located 11th floor with terrasse ( great view and sun set every late afternoon). Service was perfect, attentive and smily. Enjoy. Bruno & Isabelle
