This hotel is not bad overall, but the location is too remote. The people downstairs are basically all Mexicans. In the slums, it is indeed too dangerous to go out at night.

Very good hotel. Spacious and clean room. The breakfast is always the same but is quite extensive for the United States.

The hotel staff was very kind and explained.
The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped.
Personally, the high points were the all-you-can-drink coffee and juice for 24 hours + the smoking area in the parking space right next to the building.
Enjoy an American breakfast!
If there is one point to be concerned about, the hotel itself is wonderful, but it is in an area where security is a bit of a concern due to its location.
Basically, there seemed to be no problem, but one night there were a lot of junkies, vagrant people, and people making noise on the street.

The hotel was truly lovely. It allowed us to have a beautiful, accessible, and affordable trip to NYC. Parking was easy, subway was very convenient, and the hotel was gorgeous. Will definitely come back.
