Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel

The hotel room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It's really close to Times Square and the subway station. The front desk staff were super friendly and even gave us free tickets!

The biggest advantage of this Sheraton is its location; you can walk to most attractions in Midtown Manhattan. The rooms are just so-so, and parking is extremely expensive. They even charge for luggage storage. The meal vouchers were a pleasant surprise though.

The hotel is pretty good; the location and cleanliness are all fine. My only issue was that the cafe downstairs had unclear opening hours, and the credit usage wasn't very clear either. However, the pizza I ordered at the coffee bar later was quite good.

The price was quite a good deal for New York, especially with a discount. The facilities and decor are up to Hilton's standards, but!! It was incredibly, unbelievably crowded. Expect to wait about an hour just to park, with only one staff member working. Checking in at the front desk, buying coffee, and even storing luggage all involved long queues. It seems like a lot of airline crew stay here too, so definitely factor in extra time for everything. There are tons of hidden fees. The deposit was given as a voucher, luggage storage cost extra, and even the in-room mini-bar items were charged. Given the location and the total price of $150, I guess I'll just put up with it.

Unsatisfied. Long queues for check-in, long queues for the elevator, and they charge for luggage storage. Despite putting up the 'do not disturb' sign, housekeeping still knocked on my door every morning.
