They let us use another room to store our luggage plus points for that since it’s not just at the lobby

cheap affordable for quite decent clean room. Location is a little sketchy at night. do not recommend to go out around the hotel at night.

If you want safe and clean compared to the air B n Bs in the area, and you want lower than $150 price it's ok. There's no coffee pot or continental breakfast like they claim. The room is really tight with space so not recommended for kids. The towels aren't folded nicely, and they only have one tiny bar of soap .

Hotel was not bad for the price, rooms were small but good overall. However, the acoustic was really bad, and corridors very noisy. From inside the room we could hear doors closing outside, people talking on the corridor, and even the elevator sound. It was hard to sleep at night as we kept waking up with all those noises. Location was good, because it was very close from Manhattan and easy to get there. However, the neighborhood was not the most friendly one.

overall the property was clean however, the property was closing down and this was only shared at the time of checking in. this meant that I had to cut my vacation short and book another hotel while fighting to have a refund on the days which I did not stay.

The Nirvana Hotel is very close to the subway station 21.St./Queensboro Bridge, which is only four stations from midtown Manhattan. It‘s a perfect place for staying in NYC but not paying Manhattan prices. The staff in the hotel is very nice and tries to help you in any kind of way. Unfortunately due to Corona the breakfast room is temporarily closed. The hotels is very clean and the room service is very accurate. Unfortunately some hotel guests smoked marijuhana in the hallway, but any time the staff cleaned even the smell by exchanging the air. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We stayed with three people in a two-bed room, which left us a bit space. Two people in that kind of room would be better. The bathroom was clean as well. Only the towels were changed daily, which may be good for a lot of people, but we would have preferred to use the towels for a couple of days. But it is understandable that in many hotels the towels need to be changed more often. Only the very last day in the hotel confused us. Even though we thought it‘s a very good hotel, renovations started. They did not affect our stay, but we really questioned the need of this renovation. Hopefully the hotel is not upgraded to a very fency and expensive hotel - otherwise we would like to stay there again and definately come back!

I had a great stay, and the price couldn't be beaten.
