the room is very clean and i love that there is heat/cold air conditioner option which some hotels doesn’t provide that

It was the worst hotel in my week-long trip to New York. It's difficult to find the entrance and the alley smells really strong. It's dirty, all the facilities are old, and you can't see much sunlight. The shower curtain is short, so the floor gets soaked. The room was narrow, cold and stuffy. The staff were friendly, but the work was frustrating and requests were not processed. When I asked for a blanket, they brought me a dirty blanket full of dog hair and it wasn't even cleaned when I returned from going out. So, I asked for it to be cleaned, and they promised that it would be done if I waited in the lobby, but when I went up, it wasn't cleaned again, so I ended up waiting for an hour, but I didn't get it cleaned and just slept in a dirty place. The counter was friendly, but that was it. If I could turn back time, it was an experience I wouldn't want to go back to.

The front desk staff was excellent. Kind of funky that the refrigerator had to go on the floor. Bed was cozy and comfortable. Would recommend.

First off---the nicest , friendliest staff. So welcoming. Great Chelsea location. We stayed there a few days in March and enjoyed it so much that we came back and stayed there in April. Fresh baked cookies in the afternoon and a decent breakfast. The rooms are on the smaller, typical NY size, but when in NY, your day is spent exploring the city.

The front desk staff was wonderful. Cheng helped us bring our luggage to the room & unloaded for us. The gentleman who came when we were leaving just dumped the cart outside our door & ran. The room phone never worked despite requests at the front desk. The housekeeping was very good but the rooms needs more than 1 garbage can. Great breakfast spread too

Room was a good size and clean. Loved the hot breakfast buffet. Staff was great, my remote control stopped working on the TV at 2:00 AM went down to the desk and got new batteries. Also free bag check.
