I booked a last minute 3 night stay, 9-12 April. We lasted 2 hours from check in to check out. The room stank of heavy cleaning chemicals. The staff suggested if we were so sensitive, we should have called in advance and they could clean the room with just water. How can you “clean” with just water. The booking was non-refundable if cancelled with 5 days of arrival, or not showing up. Neither was the case. The room was uninhabitable due to the over-powering smell. I sourced another hotel. The Da Vinci refused a refund. Agoda, the booking agent offered a US$60 credit towards our next booking, but nothing more. Poor customer service from the booking agent. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM YHE DA VINCI. You couldn’t pay me enough to stay there. I saw no true American staff in the hotel, which maybe the reason we saw no American standards, hospitality or service.

Excellent staff and a wonderful location. Can definitely use some aesthetic updates. Sink was cracked, furniture is old and chipped, etc. But everything was clean and the property was relatively quiet for being right in midtown.

The staff was nice but botched our reservation (they confirmed it was correct/consolidated when we arrived, but then kicked us out in the middle of our work day because they hadn't done it, AND charged us for it and charged us a late check-out fee because we couldn't get out fast enough for them. Awful. And no coffee or other amenities. I rarely write reviews but feel compelled to write this one. I would never go back here and encourage you to avoid this property as well unless they fix things.

Arrived at the DaVinci hotel for a two night stay on April 9th. at 1:00pm. I was pleasantly surprised the receptionist was very accomodating by allowing me to check in early. I was very surprised by how big my room was compared to other rooms I've stayed in NYC. Perfectly comfortable queen sized bed with very nice pillows for your comfort. Very nice combo of a clean bathtub and shower with no problems with water temperatures. Very nice PAYA toiletries, hair dryer, iron and ironing table, safe box for your important stuff. My room was 304, like 4 steps from the elevator yet I didn't hear it or was bothered by neighbours. Very quiet place. I will most certainly make the Da Vinci Hotel my to go hotel on any other NYC visit. Close to Central Park, train stations, Columbus Circle, Time Square. There's also the Joe G Italian Restaurant at their premises. Delicious food, quick customer service and cannolli to die for!

The place was pretty clean what I didn’t like was that the bed was very uncomfortable. Sunk in in the middle definitely need new mattress. The furniture in the room is kind of outdated as well.
