The hotel is right next to New York University, which is convenient for visiting friends there, but the hotel room is not big and the bed is not big.

The location of the hotel is close to New York University. I wanted to experience a hotel with history, but the experience is very bad. The whole hotel is like a guest house with poor sound insulation and small rooms. In a word, it is old and small.

Rooms were small so when we saw the bathrooms and they were large, it was a big plus. The bar and restaurant are a great scene that is in line with the area. Staff was great also.

Wonderful hotel. I traveled alone this time, but I noticed that the queen room would be pretty tight for two people. In any event, I had a great stay.

I have stayed in the Marlton Hotel several times .
I love it for its location, friendliness, cleanliness and comfort.
My one gripe is the service in the dining area.
It’s appalling.
It has been like that since I started staying in the hotel . I would be shocked now if it changed .
There are certainly enough staff but there doesn’t seem to be anyone in charge . The staff all run around like headless chickens.
The breakfast menu is also jaded .
Apart from that I always enjoy my stay

The hotel is historical and quite charming. I didn't mind the tiny room and it was kept very clean. However, I have never been treated so poorly by hotel staff. I'm not from NYC so I assume this is to be expected in the city? Regardless, as a friendly person, I was completely surprised by the rudeness of the staff from the bar and restaurant to the front desk. Something isn't working here and management needs to question what that is.
