We were very pleased with our stay at the Archer. The staff was friendly and responsive, all areas of the hotel were well-designed and well-kept, the room was lovely, the bed was seriously comfortable and bathroom amenities delightful. The only area of disappointment was the Spyglass bar. We headed up there the first night, eager to have a nice drink in a nice bar with a spectacular view. The bar is nice and the drinks were good, but the vibe was not what we were expecting. It was fairly busy, with some other couples and a family celebrating a graduation, but the whole room was dominated by noise coming from a loud, inebriated group of people. No staff intervened or even looked like this was unusual, so we cut our time short and didn't return during our visit. Unfortunate - but a small wrinkle in an otherwise very enjoyable stay.

My sisters and I stayed for a girls weekend 5/3-5/6. We had adjoining rooms as requested on-line and were able to check in early to 1 room, which we truly appreciated. The staff were all super friendly and accomodating. Answering our often stupid questions at the front desk : ) Holding open doors and very good service in the the bar and restaurant. Location is also perfect; away from the madness but with easy access to Time Square. Would book again!

we loved everything about this hotel. location was perfect. staff including reception, bar staff and cleaners were all so helpful and friendly. nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay here again

I stay in NYC quite a bit for work, and I'm so happy to have found the Archer Hotel. My room was perfection with an excellent view of the Empire State Building. The staff are fantastic and the food is also great. I also really enjoyed the view from the Spyglass Rooftop Bar. The location, a few blocks from Bryant Park is also very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel.

Rooms are super small for two people but the view of the Empire State Building makes up for it. Beautifully appointed, beds are luscious. Great for an overnight stay. The street below had some construction that went through the night but we still loved our experience.
