I had booked a corner king and upon arrival there was a stain on the carpet and asked to be moved to a clean room, which they did immediately and got a better view. The experience manager Josh was very welcoming and informed me about the different types of corner Kings so that I could choose the one I preferred.
When I returned for a second stay a few days later he offered me some thoughtful amenities and the front of house staff remembered me by name which was a nice touch. Overall, great location , attentive service, rooms can do with a bit of refreshing but would definitely stay either here or at the Highline Standard again.

Very cool property, but some things are so cool they are nonfunctional. Garbage cans are cool, but unless it’s a round relatively small object it won’t fit in the can. Bathtub is cool, but with nothing to hang on to, getting in and out is treacherous. We weren’t given the VIP perks we were expecting.

The Standard East Village welcomes You right as You enter with a Red Carpet and Beautiful stylish lobby. The Friendly and Helpful Front Desk Team consisting of Kimberley, Sha, Myko, Bella, Khori and Rudy made us feel welcome at all times and were lovely to speak to passing through to the café or heading out! Our corner double room was beautiful with incredible views (room 1209) and very well laid out. Extremely comfy beds, great water pressure in the well-appointed bathroom and nice ambient lighting options! Bonus: the Bang & Olufson speaker in the room was a lovely touch! We spent a lot of time in the café-as the ambiance, awesome staff, great food and drinks made us not want to bother to go anywhere else sometimes! Shout out to the café managers Art and Hunter for their welcoming kindness, and the Exemplary bar staff Max, Bryan (Brooklyn!), Luke and Jack, and the absolutely awesome Jasmine our server extraordinaire! We also had some drinks in NoBar which is truly a great spot, and Rocket and Gustavo are Bar Rockstars! All in all this is a chic and friendly Hotel in a sweet location, fantastic crew to take care of You and Gorgeous Rooms! I Shall be back ASAP!

It's alright, rooms are very small but it is in Manhattan. Some staff were kind others were not. Photos were not at all consistent with the room I booked.

Another great stay at our favorite spot! Location is fantastic, rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and professional. Excellent customer service. No Bar on the ground floor was lively and fun. Highly recommend this great hotel for you next visit to NY!
