We loved this hotel!!! Modern,fun and easy access to all the top nyc attractions. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the room (24th floor) was perfect with amazing city and river view!
Would definitely come back here.

The facilities are a bit old. Both the pillows and comforters had a sweaty smell. Luckily, my friend brought her own pillowcases and duvet covers. Breakfast was decent and quite varied. There's also a patrol robot, which is pretty cute.

YOTEL Downtown Manhattan – Do Not Stay Here
My stay at YOTEL Downtown Manhattan was extremely disappointing. The room was incredibly small—more like a box than a hotel room. Throughout the night, doors were constantly banging, making it impossible to sleep. Either the soundproofing is terrible or guests simply have no consideration.
I tried to cancel immediately after seeing the room, but the hotel refused. I also didn’t receive the view I specifically paid for, which was very frustrating.
I had an extra night in New York and chose the Holiday Inn instead—what a difference. It was easily ten times better, with a comfortable room, peace and quiet, and great views of New York.
My advice: avoid YOTEL and stay literally anywhere else.

Think about the price we paid for a Christmas booking! We booked two rooms for three nights but only stayed one night before switching hotels! The hygiene was poor; there were even shoe prints on the pillows. As for facilities, the bed was so soft it hurt my back, and the pillows were rock hard. The environment was not great either: the room was tiny, the bed's faux leather was peeling, and the sink was cracked. Service at the front desk was very slow.
