The worst hotel in the more than 4,000 one-night hotels I have stayed in. The area is very small, there is a wall above the window, the distance is less than 1 meter, and the hot water comes out of the hot water pipe with white foam. Too bad too bad. .

Best experience I've ever had. The entire staff were friendly and welcoming. Entire place was clean and smelt great. Front desk/concierge helped us when we need ideas on restaurants to eat at and help us get reservations. Definitely will be returning soon.

We had another great stay at 1Hotel Central Park. This is a very well maintained property that has a unique vibe and one of my favourite features in a hotel…hardwood floors. The location is one block from Central Park and gives you good access to many sites but is a little far from the Village ,SoHo ,or other neighborhoods in the south end , if that is your focus. You might try the Brooklyn Bridge location if you are spending allot of time below midtown. The hotel has a boutique hotel feel ,attentive staff and a terrific onsite restaurant. If you book the smallest room it will be small but it is NewYork after all .Having stayed at a variety of different properties in New York I believe this hotel provides great value for the quality of the amenities.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel! The location is perfect, but the service is also excellent in every manner. Every staff member, including the Candice/housekeeping team and the concierge (hooked us with great last-minute reservations). Without a doubt, I'll return and tell all of my friends and family about it! Moreover, the views are breathtaking! I am grateful to 1 Hotel Central Park!

I’m surprised the hotel has so many good reviews. The entry level rooms are so tiny there is nowhere to sit and have a work call. ( when I asked the front desk if there is a room that’s not on the elevator with somewhere to sit , he offered the 100$ upgrade.There is nowhere to sit except the bed. The finishes are cheap -the sustainability theme is lame. The elevators are against the wall so you hear it all day and night. It’s not cheap. The restaurant staff are grumpy. The front desk and concierge and doorman are super helpful and friendly. No thanks. I went back to the Conrad midtown.
