When I first got to New York, I lived uptown.
Not a good impression of the whole
Later, I changed to Ludlow and felt that the location is very good
Very close to downtown but not too noisy
There is a bar on the first floor with a good environment

My husband and I do a little staycation every February and try out new hotels. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice everyone was given the neighborhood. Rooms were comfy and quiet, in room dining was great. Definitely coming back in the summertime to enjoy the outdoor seating

The Ludlow has become our go-to hotel in New York City. The staff from reception to the lounge to housekeeping are unfailingly polite and professional. We had a large group staying for a birthday celebration and the staff helped us surprise the birthday girl. The lounge area is comfy and a great place to chill, meet friends, have a cup of tea or a cocktail by the fire. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The location is great. We highly recommend The Ludlow!

Had an amazing stay at the hotel. The design of the hotel is amazing, very stylish. Room had a very comfortable bed, super soft sheets and a very nice bathtub. Also def check out the rooftop if you stay here for the amazing views. Everyone at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. Made me feel welcome. Great location at the LES to explore the neighbourhood. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. I highly recommend staying at the Ludlow.

The standard of service at the Ludlow is extremely high. The staff are always helpful, professional and accommodating. The lobby is welcoming, with confortable seating, an outdoor courtyard and buzzing bar & restaurant. The rooms are very comfortable, and well equipped with thoughtful touches, and amazingly quiet given the East Village location. They have room service, which is increasingly rare in NYC, and the quality, selection, and speed is high. A perfect home away from home. I highly recommend.
