The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The problem is that the parking lot is over 2 blocks away, which isn't mentioned at the time of booking. I had to walk 2 blocks at night, alone in 15-degree weather over icy sidewalks. The front desk staff that night never offered to valet park my car. Then when I got in the room it was 58 degrees in there. When I called the front desk they came to attempt to adjust the heat but it didn't work. After 2 hours of being in a freezing room I called again and the night manager brought a space heater and attempted to adjust the heating unit. It was after midnight before I got some heat in the room. The next morning when I checked out the manager was very apologetic about the situation, and the night manager was very accommodating as well, although it was still a very poor experience overall. Also, the rooms are small, although I guess that is to be expected in NY.

This hotel is not worth the money. Additional $50 /night above booking price at check-in. The shower temperature wasn't even lukewarm. The room didn't have a closet, only storage underneath the bed. The complimentary coffee provided was inside a independent commercial coffee shop
which was nothing more than an up-sell. No food or drinks in vending machines. Housekeeping only leaft a single set of towels. The bed was comfortable

Great experience so far.. room is beautiful, clean and great views. The best thing to me is the bed. For my people who just need a break from working hard this bed is a vacation. 5 stars. I will come back again

From the front desk staff to the wonderfully appointed room, this hotel was a find for sure. Although we could only stay for one night because of our itinerary, I wished we could have stayed longer to take advantage of the Spa and restaurant.

I rarely write reviews, but the customer service at this hotel was so exceptional I felt obligated to. Special shout-out to Alina at the front desk who is an absolute pleasure! Will be returning during my next visit to the Rockaways.

The over grown dead grass on the terrace…no cups in the room, no microwave, no refrigerator, no coffee machine in the room so I’m not certain what amenities I’m actually paying for that was extra from the costly room charge….some of the staff was very friendly and made nice effort but not all of them did and this is a customer service industry
