Really great hotel. The service was OUTSTANDING!! They gave great recommendations, recognized us when we walked in every day. Wonderful! We had the one bedroom and it was huge! Too big for what we needed but it was nice. The room is starting to show its age with wear and tear on furniture but I’d still recommend the hotel. Great location to walk to all the top attractions in Manhattan.

Location is very good but low floors looking air conditioners

I really liked the stay. The location is very good for the price, and every staff at the hotel was very friendly. The room was decently spacious. Overall, this hotel is a very good value if you need to stay in/around this location.

The room which was assigned had issue with the AC unit. When the AC was turned on, there was loud ticking noise

I was up in New York for a weekend and needed a hotel close to a birthday party location. The Shelburne Sonesta was a great experience! Great location, phenomenal service, and a comfortable room. Will definitely be booking a room here again in the future!

Well located hotel along Lexington Ave where there was plenty of places to eat. Rooms were kept very clean. I would recommend this hotel based on the it's price.

Location is good, convenient to anywhere, room is not so small but a little bit old and not too clean, the toilet is small, but the price is ok for the center of NY.

it's not what I expected

It’s in the center of NYC, recommend to try the Japanese restaurant nearby, WOKUNI.

This is the hotel with the largest room size in this price range in Manhattan. The location is also good. The price-performance ratio is very high. The decoration is also relatively new.

The location is good. There are several supermarkets and Chinese restaurants nearby. It is convenient to go to Fifth Avenue and Times Square. You can walk there directly. It is also convenient to go to the Central Station. It takes about six minutes to walk. The hotel room is also large and acceptable.

It was friendly and clean, and the elevator was spacious even though it was on the 11th floor. Most attractions can be reached on foot, and it is also convenient to use public transportation. There was a market nearby that was open until 10 o'clock, so it was convenient. The room was spacious enough to be comfortable, and the bathroom was also spacious and clean. Very satisfied!

Finally, after a round of selection, I chose this one. Considering the price, room size, and location, I think it's pretty good. My friend has several friends from other places, and he also let them stay here. During the few days of travel, I was praised more than once for my choice. First of all, it's not far from the subway station. It takes five minutes to walk to Grand Central Station on 42nd Street (the hotel is on 37th Street). I took the subway from time to time during those days, which is convenient and cheap. Very close to several attractions we visited. After searching for the restaurant I booked, it turned out to be within walking distance. Second, the room is quite small. Several large boxes can be spread out and placed. The first one I looked at was the Addison, which cost over 4,000 square meters and cost 19 square meters. This one cost over 2,000 and is nearly 30 square meters. It’s not far from Times Square. Third, girls choose a room mainly based on appearance. Although this restaurant is not very new or fancy, it still looks good. You have to pay an additional equipment fee every day, which is more than thirty dollars. You can go to the front desk to get two bottles of water/drinks every day. Ask the front desk for kettle and slippers and they will be delivered to the room.

Very convenient if you use Grand Central Station. There are no bathrobes or slippers, so I think it would be a good idea to bring your own toiletries.
