I want to bring to your attention our recent stay at the City Club Hotel in New York. We had reserved 3 rooms for May 27th, but our experience was terrible. The trouble started when we called to reserve the rooms. We specifically asked about parking for our oversized car and were assured that there would be a spot available. However, upon arrival at 9 pm, we were told that we couldn't park the car at the hotel. This left us stranded with nowhere to park, 13 hours away from home. When we asked for a refund, we were denied. After driving around the city for 4 to 5 hours and failing to find parking, we returned to the hotel and encountered a different person at the front desk. We asked for help and were told that the staff member, Lisa, couldn't assist us as she claimed to have no authority. Eventually, we were allowed to park on the street in front of the hotel but were told to move the car by 6 am. Despite our exhaustion, we agreed. Upon entering our room, we were shocked to find a large stain on the bed(shown below), numerous hairs in the bathroom, and a lingering smell of smoke. Additionally, another room had a stain on the couch. The following morning, we received a call at 5:45 am demanding that we move our car. Despite our efforts, finding parking for our van proved impossible. We spent hours driving around in search of a spot, which led to further frustration. After an hour-long argument with the manager, we were informed that Lisa was, in fact, a manager and not just an employee as she had previously claimed.
