This was our 4th or 5th time staying here, and it was as enjoyable and comfortable as always. The front staff is always friendly and very helpful. A nice continental breakfast and more friendly staff to assist you. We get the room with a queen size bed, and ours had the Juliet balcony (ours overlooked 26th St). It's a wonderful location (just a couple blocks from the 6 subway), and easy to get to Penn and Grand Central stations. We look forward to another visit at the end of the year!

This was our fifth stay at the Giraffe and we enjoyed it as we always do. The staff are always pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. Having said that, now that the wine and cheese happy hour seems to have permanently disappeared we are unlikely to return and will seek other options.

The Giraffe still has it. Love the friendly and helpful staff. The location cannot be beat. The rooms are bigger than many hotels in Manhattan. The morning breakfast and all day snacks offer perfect breaks during the tiring Manhattan day. Highly recommend.

How do you find a hotel in Manhattan that has a great location but is still in a relatively 'quiet' area , has large enough rooms with space for a family and still room to 'swing a cat' and in Manhattan terms doesn't mean you need a 2nd mortgage? Well you go to Hotel Giraffe of course! I really can't fault the hotel at all, they don't pretend to be something they are not, they are not pretentious and always offer a friendly smile with excellent customer service both before and during your stay. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious, extremely clean and whilst not the most modern in some areas I don't think this matters. They are also quiet and traffic noise was not bad at all and certainly didn't disturb our sleep. Overall we had an excellent stay and would certainly recommend!

The hotel was spectacular. Checking in was super efficient and pleasant. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. The room was very nice and had a nice street view. When making the reservation, a note was made about it being a special birthday trip and there was a very nice note, chocolates, and a bottle of wine in the room! The location was great because it offered super easy subway access and it was not too close to Times Square, but still very walkable to a big part of the city. We definitely will stay here in the future.

Finding a hotel in NYC that has roomy rooms that are comfortable and quiet is an almost impossible task but I found exactly that at Hotel Giraffe. Centrally located, rooms that are not tiny little boxes, quiet, clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy to come and go. Elevators a little slow but if that is the only thing that did not go perfectly, it is a win. We will definitely be back.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, viele Anlaufstellen lassen sich bequem fussläufig erreichen. Zudem sind Subway-Stationen schnell erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind sauber, das Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Es gibt auch einen CVS in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Just returned from a wonderful stay in New York at the Hotel Girafffe. A friend recommended this hotel and said the location was very good. The front desk arranged transportation for us to and from the airport after contacting them via email. Upon arrival I was a little underwhelmed by the lobby as the decor is dated. Our room was a good size with little outside noise from the street. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. There was always hot water in the shower. However, the decor of the room was dated and in need of a “facelift”. I would recommend the hotel put in smart tv’s that offer guests the ability to stream. We enjoyed the morning continental breakfast and especially liked bringing in pizza one night and enjoying a quiet dinner in the lobby. Overall the hotel is very good; in a great location, clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.
