The walls are quite thin and the room orientation has the bed against the hallway wall, so if you're a light sleeper beware. Also no curtains so the sun comes in quite bright in the am. Room was clean, staff was friendly. I love staying in this area but I'll def go back across the street to the Gregory next time.

Rooms are small but good. Aircon is either off or a jet engine so not the best and not sure how it would be in the summer as we turned it off at night. Trendy black decor and trendy rooftop bar where 5 staff struggled to serve 6 customers as they were busy chatting and taking pictures of themselves… lifts were a pain at times as a long wait. The snacks at 3 well we went there at 4 and there were a few apples. Agree the resort fee is a rip off but all US hotels do this plus demand tips so us Brits need to budget for this as it’s the way here. Liked the location and some good Irish bars like Slattery’s where the happy hour is great. Could be a 3 but 4 due to location and good reception team. Didn’t try the breakfast.

Location is great as it’s less than a minute to the nearest subway, plenty of places to eat or grab a drink nearby and not far from Times Square. Stayed in a Lux King room on the penthouse floor so great for the rooftop bar and the amazing view of the ESB, room was spotless, spacious with good air con, nice toiletries, a fridge, coffee machine and was cleaned daily during our 5 night stay. Staff were all friendly and so helpful especially Shawn from Brooklyn. The amenity fee is a joke for what’s included…24 hour gym access, refillable water bottle (water station on second floor) and coffee from same room which was tepid at best. Lifts were temperamental with only one working for the duration of our stay so expect a wait. Liberty bar is nice for food and drinks. $250 deposit returned immediately.

We loved being so close to Penn Station as we took the train to and from Virginia. Kixby is an easy walk to Times Square and Midtown as well as the High Line and Hudson Yards on the west side. Providing a water bottle and a variety of waters was a nice touch!
The street noise was bothersome during the night (we were on the 9th floor), and our TV did not work properly which are the only reasons our overall rating was a 4 instead of a 5.

Room was super spacious for NY. Very clean. Closet was convenient. Bathroom was very nice. House cleaning was great - we left the room watch day in the afternoon and they still provided service. Highly recommend!

The hotel stay was truly exceptional. Every aspect, from the refined ambiance to the efficient elevators and the captivating rooftop, contributed to a wonderful experience. The personnel were highly accommodating, allowing for an additional hour of stay, and the view of the Empire State Building added to the overall excellence.
