I'm not traveling to New York. I just stayed here for one night with my kids during New Year's Eve. The 750-dollar room was like a prison with no windows and everything was very small. There was urine smell on the floor next to the toilet and it was not cleaned immediately. The breakfast was like something out of a movie. The breakfast in the prison is very poor. It can be said that except for the good location and the staff, everything else is not good.

Really Great location. In the center of the action. If you don't like crowds, this is not for you. Comfy bed. Well heated during winter which was great.
The restaurant upstairs was always fully booked, no privileged access to people staying at the hotel.
Helpful staff but sometimes too agressive staff for tips. It made us feel a bit uncomfortable at times.
Room linens, curtains were dirty.
Found some food packaging from the people before us next to the bed so it's not cleaned very well.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Loved the enclosed rooftop patio and their food was quite tasty.
I would recommend our room update their bed as it was in need of replacement.

Lovely stay at this very well located hotel. Nearly everything that we wanted to do in New York was within a comfortable walking distance and very close to the subway to get down to the 9/11 Memorial and Brooklyn Bridge. We upgraded to a King Room which was on the front of the hotel. I think this was a good move as I gather from others that the standard rooms are small with no view. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and a large hot shower with nice toiletries provided. The roof top restaurant was good, very popular so booking is advisable. Being a resident you get a 10% discount which is not widely publicised, so you need to mention it, I think reception is supposed to give you a voucher, we hadn’t got one but we still received the discount. The continental breakfast could be improved upon but it was sufficient. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel and would repeat the experience.
