The hotel hardware is okay, but the front desk service is very average. After several encounters, I felt a little rude.

Very clean and very quiet at night, there is a kettle in the room. There is a bar on the L floor of the hotel, so you don’t have to worry about safety when you go out for fun at night. In short, it is a rare and cost-effective hotel in midtown.

Satisfied in all aspects, relatively hygienic, the service attitude at the front desk is very good, and they take the initiative to help Lamen with luggage. Hotel location is also good.

Hotel is in a good location. Room was well appointed. Nice shampoo etc. and amenities like a steamer for clothes. The lighting looks cool but impractical especially in the bathroom which is way too dark. Also very limited counter space in bathroom for cosmetics; just a small shelf below sink shared by tissues and extra toilet paper. Wood blind mechanism for window in room was reported broken but not fixed. All of hotel staff very pleasant and accommodating.

We stayed here on 16th May and didn’t get a wink of sleep as there is a metal plate in the road that makes a huge bang every time someone drives over it. The hotel itself has noisy plumbing too and the shower curtain smells of damp. Our room cost $611 and when I complained they gave me $40 off. I had booked to come back in June (2 rooms for 5 nights costing over 5k) but have cancelled this booking. Spend your money elsewhere.

First time stay on combined business/fun meeting with my wife this past week. Upon entering - Aka Nomad has a beautiful, modern and aesthetic lobby/lounge area. Our evening manager - J W was especially helpful and attentive. Conveniently located in midtown- easy walk, subway or taxi anywhere- quickly. Our room with terrace was exceptional. We’ll definitely be back. - Very highly recommend.

Had a great stay at the Aka Nomad in Manhattan. The staff were ultra friendly and always happy to help at any time (especially Ian who each day was always happy to help). The queen room with balcony was spacious and had a great view of the empire state and down to one world trade. The rooms were made well furnished with all amenities for the traveller. They were made up to a high standard with new towels each day. Not like the enviro police here in the UK. A luxury hotel that provided an equally luxury stay. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

We had a great stay at AKA nomad during oue time in NY. Specially thanks to ian, chris and Johny that really helped us with everything, from booking restaurants to booking transportation in the city and back to the airport!! Would definitely recommend it
