This hotel is a scam. I have been owed a refund of more than $1,000 since February and they have stopped responding to me and are refusing to refund me. Do not stay here. Wyndham Hotels dropped LuxUrban from their portfolio because of how poorly they were operated, yet the CEO just bought $200,000 in shares of his own company.

I recently stayed at The Tuscany and I would definitely recommend for its friendly and accommodating staff. The facilities were great overall, though not perfect. For instance, the excavator was somewhat old, and the room decor appeared outdated. However, these minor issues didn’t really detract from the overall experience. Its convenience, being right next to Grand Central, adds to its appeal. This hotel is a solid, affordable option for anyone looking for a good stay.

PRO: extra spacious room, large closet, great water pressure, clean rooms, modern clean bathroom CON: this is NOT a 4-star hotel. No idea how it qualifies as such. Room had no glassware. No tissues. No extra TP and the starter roll was not even full upon arrival. Only 1 disposable cup provided that sort of fell apart on day 1 and it was not replaced over 4 day stay. TV is very old and doesn’t work well. Tiny scratchy towels and limited quantity. When I requested more they were eventually delivered and handed to me in a sloppy pile. Not even folded but seemed clean. Shampoo and body wash bottles are tiny random brands and cheap. Hand soap is comically tiny. Bring your own! Cleaners had clearly been in room but didn’t make bed, replace towels or clear garbage food from the table. I like to communicate with staff before posting a bad review but … It was impossible to reach reception by phone or chat. Tried everything multiple times over multiple days. The front desk wasn’t super friendly when I finally spoke to them in person. They definitely seem underpaid and under trained. My key expired on Night 2 of 4. I was issued new key without having to show ID - just said my room number. Scary.

Positive: · Very good location,big clean rooms.Friendly staff.Restaurants and coffees nearby. Quite quiet room at night.Very comfortable beds. Negative: · No breakfast available,no glasses or coffee/tea-maker in the room. Dirty windows,hardly see through. Telephone in the room,but it was not possible to call to reception by the telephone on the table.Every time had to walk to reception if something to ask. We came 10 PM in the hotel (2+3 persons) and the extrabed was not ready in the triple-room when we arrived. Lady in the reception said that it may take 1 hour before housekeeping come to make the extrabed ready.We were tired after travelling 16 hours and the room was not ready for us at 10 PM!Finally I asked to get bedlinen so that I can make the bed by myself.I got the sheets,but not a blanket.Our daughter was shivering the whole night without a blanket.We got the blanket next day. We were 3 persons in the triple-room and every day there was only 2 big towels for us.Every day during our 6 days holiday we had to go to reception to get one more big towel. Our son was in a doubleroom with his girlfriend and they had always only 1 big towel for 2 persons in their double-room.....He also went to reception every day to get a big towel. The manager of the hotel has promised us a refund ,let us see if it is going to happen.....

Arrived at this hotel and was greeted by a lovely lady on reception who checked us in with no problem, also very helpful with directions to the local attractions. Our room 1109 was very big and spacious and had everything we needed, a good location and near Grand Central Station we will return when in New York again. Karl and Emma
