We arrived at the Henn Na hotel at around four in the afternoon, and were checked in by a pleasant and efficient receptionist, after we dodged the dinosaur in the foyer. We were extremely pleased by the size of the room, and the presence of a mini-fridge. Our view was absolutely nothing but an alley, but we didn't spend a huge amount of our time in the room, taking the two minute walk to Macys. When we got back, it was time for bed. There was some city noise, but honestly, what do you expect in the middle of Manhattan? We were probably helped by being in one of the non-street facing rooms, so I guess if you are a light sleeper, aim for those. However, there were other people in our party who had street facing rooms, and they had no complaints. The beds were very comfortable, if a bit small for two adults. The tea kettle was put to use in the morning, with our own tea bags and oatmeal satchets. We then set out to see Manhattan, which was extremely easy given the incredible location. We ended up staying a total of 8 nights, and had no issues throughout. The price was extremely reasonable by Manhattan standards, and I would not hesitate to book there again. I would echo other reviewers who suggest that they provide some tea/coffee to go along with the kettle.
