The Bowery Hotel was a great place to stay for a quick jaunt to New York. Our room was modern, spacious, and comfortable and had a large window which provided a lot of natural light. All of the staff members were lovely - after check-in, they immediately recognized us when we stopped by the desk and made some terrific local recommendations for important New York specialties such as pizza and bagels. We also attended a function in the hotel which could not have been nicer. We would love to return.

We return to the Bowery Hotel whenever we're in New York City. The staff are amazing and it really feels like home. Gemma restaurant is a cozy meeting place for breakfast with our family, and after dinner drinks in the lobby bar is always a treat. It's a special place!

Perhaps there was too much hype for this hotel - but I thought it was fine but not great for the price. Plumbing is bad, room was clean but looked worn and main complaint was how noisy it is. Every night at 10 the bass would start thumping. Staff was friendly and professional.

This hotel charms you. I was going to give it a 4star & then I thought why take a star away for little things like no valet parking (garage is around the corner & validated) Lobby is a little dark & dated but the smiles behind the counter totally make up for that. Seriously the friendliest staff we have ever encountered...and it's genuine not fake. The lounge is a gathering place where people linger & relax. Our room was small but extremely clean & comfortable. A beautiful patio to enjoy when the sun was out. The bathroom while small(but not as small as some uptown) had a fabulous shower. The connected restaurant Gemma is a gem. Again friendly staff & delicious food. Perfect location to explore SoHo. Little Italy, TriBeCa & Chinatown. We both can't wait to return to this unique hotel.

Very well-appointed hotel but not stuffy. Great staff. Interesting people watching. Room was a patio is nice if you can get one. Restaurant is top notch and cozy. No complaints about anything. It's not cheap, but not out of line given quality and location.

Best hospitality and staff in the city. Went for my wife's birthday and they treated us fantastically. Rooms are cozy and elegant, and you'll inevitably see somebody famous in the lobby (but without any annoying "scene" or hassle accompanying it).
