Moxy NYC Lower East Side

Well located close to subway stops. Great view from city view room. Room small but had decent amount of under bed storage. Shower good. Bed very comfortable.

Very cool and trendy hotel but many staff largely indifferent and was double charged for stay and then unexplained charges made to card after departure. The morning after check in I discovered my card had been charged twice for the entire stay. On reporting this to reception the member of staff was dismissive and said the only person who could access the billing system wouldn’t be available until the next day at least. Said person then emailed me and after some exchanges agreed to void one of the transactions and gave us a $75 credit for the inconvenience. However on checking out more charges were made to my card 48 hours later so I contacted the hotel for an explanation… 4 days later I’m still awaiting a response having chased 3 times. The rooms are small as you’d expect in NYC and I was led to believe fridges in rooms were available on request so I asked for one before we arrived but it was never provided. Our room rate included a $30 credit each day to spend on various different things including food, drinks or dry cleaning. Personally I’d rather they just reduced the room rate! If you don’t know NYC, this isn’t the best area. Although it’s well located for transport and getting about the city, it isn’t the safest feeling particularly after dark. I wouldn’t return here after the billing issues… beware of what’s charged to your card

Amazing staff. Best of hospitality from Curtis and Kim. Great representation of Marriott and Moxy brands. Easy check in process. It was fast and courteous. Hotel is located in a central location that’s convenient to explore. I would stay again.

I really enjoyed my stayed at the Moxy Lower East Side, my room had a lovely view and the bar was super cute! The restaurant downstairs was exquisite! Sean & Alex the staff members were very helpful! Looking forward to visiting NYC and staying in the Moxy again xoxo

The staff at the Moxy Hotel LES is incredibly friendly and accommodating! Curtis checked me in and was very helpful, making the process smooth and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, I felt at ease and well taken care of. The lobby has a vibrant and trendy atmosphere, which sets the tone for the rest of the hotel. My room was stylishly designed, clean, and comfortable. The modern amenities, including the fast Wi-Fi and the high-quality toiletries, made my stay even more enjoyable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing a great night’s sleep after a long day exploring the city.
