This hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely “sensitive” person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely don’t typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there, and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Let’s just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said “I’m surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-) either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely time at this hotel. The staff made us feel so welcome from the start, with the restaurant manager comping our coffees when we first arrived. The location is excellent for restaurants, clubs and general wandering around the Brooklyn area. And great ferry and subway connections nearby get you into and around the rest of New York. We did have an issue with noise on our first night (some of the rooms are quite near to a local club which wasn't great for us after a long flight). But we were efficiently moved to a quieter room (with a great view) and the staff handled it all very well. Shout out to Tal who was great. And no review would be complete without acknowledging the friendly doormen, who welcomed us back every night with a smile and a joke.

The Wythe is a close friend. My wife and I have stayed here repeatedly when we have come to Brooklyn to visit our son. It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for in this life, and what you get at the Wythe is beautiful. The staff is superb. Everyone from the doorman to the room service delivery person and especially the front desk staff are friendly and helpful and professional. We have admittedly stayed at other properties, but have always returned to the Wythe. In addition to the staff and the room amenities, the hotel restaurant , Le Crocodile, is outstanding – three stars from the New York Times. This is a fine property.

Can’t say enough about the amazing staff at the Wythe Hotel- so warm and welcoming , lovely rooms , great restaurant and bars . The Bar Blondeau is exceptional views and so very lovely - a must stop even if you are not staying at the hotel. The Crocodile is the fun, delicious, cool lobby restaurant.

I wrote a 5-star review of the Wythe 3 years ago and back to happily report it's better than ever. As others have pointed out, the funky-chic industrial feel makes it an experience like no other in Brooklyn and if you can get one of the 7th or 8th floor loft space it will be a truly life-changing stay. Being in prime Williamsburg, there are countless food and nightlife options and it's also an easy ride into lower Manhattan. Above all it's the staff that makes the Wythe special; every single individual i've encountered (front desk, door guards, restaurant/bar teams, audio specialists, room service deliverers) has been world class and gone out of their way to ensure my stay was special. To top it all off, they remind you to email them in advance for special "returning customer" special discounts that create a VIP experience. Run don't walk to the Wythe during your next NYC stay and book the best hotel in the entire city!

I used to live a block away from Hotel alley in Williamsburg. So I have been at the restaurants and bars here for a long time. Now I live upstate and when I come back to the city, I would stay at the Wythe over the other big 4 in the area 1000% of the time. The service is better. The rooms are better. The vibe is better. The value, believe it or not, is better. This is the crown jewel. No shade on the other 3 a block away, you know who you are, but the wythe is the OG . Also my Sunday night stay here was less expensive than my Monday night stay at the Hoxton. Imagine that, any world where a stay at the hoxton costs more than a stay at the wythe. That's truly wild.

We had an excellent experience at this hotel and as an NYC native I can confirm no matter where you’re from you’ll enjoy it too. Floor 7 rooms offers spectacular views of Midtown day and night. Easy access to the ferry from DUMBO, only a 10 minute walk for an equally picturesque scene. The room is immaculate not just clean. Bedding and towels are sparkling white. Rainfall shower, mirror sink are kept spotless - you can also view the skyline as you freshen up through a one sided window. The bespoke wallpaper adds a touch of refinement to the modernist aesthetic. You are provided with a tote which can be borrowed during the stay or purchased. For those unfamiliar the area is full of quirky, iconic bars and restaurants. It’s safe to walk around at night, I am a women and felt completely fine. There are parks for runners. Many churches for sinners. It is very close to the East River, enough to walk right up to the waves. You will need a navigate a little for public transportation but remember this is going by NYC standards so that means walking 5-10 minutes for a bus or train as opposed to 1-5 minutes. We traveled from DUMBO near the Brooklyn Bridge to the hotel by ferry in under 15 minutes and would highly recommend it because it’s a highly scenic, easy and cheap route. Get the 10 ride pass if you can for best value. It’s so easy my husband who is from the car only part of the country was able to figure it out entirely on his own. WiFi is excellent and the TV works, so if you need to work remotely, this hotel is a smart option. Our room came with a desk and two leather chairs. A special thanks to Gee for helping us carry our things and taking the extra step of making sure that our Uber knew where to find us and drop us off at LGA! Thanks to him we made it on time with room to spare even though we left at rush hour.
