3-Star Hotels in Newark

This hotel is my fave in Newark..right across from NJPAC..convention to restaurants and shops...onsite restaurant...very clean, chic, and modern..my only pet peeve..don't knock on my door until its time for me to check out..some people want all their money's worth...housekeeping.. I'm not on your schedule...other than that..I'm never disappointed...parking is a little high as well .40 dollars for one night...hotel guests should get discounted rate. and the bed..omg...yeah..amazing

After a long flight from the UK we arrived to check in and were greeted by very friendly reception staff who asked us all about our trip, where we were travelling to etc, so we explained we were at the start of a roadtrip. We asked if our room rate included breakfast, it didn't, but the very helpful Nate said he wanted our trip to get off to a good start and gave us a voucher for breakfast. Was a lovely gesture, very welcome and the next morning it set us up for the day - thanks Nate! The hotel itself was fine, the room perfectly adequate. Our only issue was the family across the corridor. I think there had been a problem with their room so they were in the hallway making such an amount of noise which carried on inside the room. I believe several complaints were made as it was as though there was a party going on. Security came up a couple of times and it eventually quietened down. Just not what we needed at 11pm onwards after a long flight, nor I'm sure did anyone else.

Advantages: good location, free parking, free bus to the airport, and then into New York, but this way is more expensive, 2 people need 61 knives to return to and from New York, it is better to park in New York, it will be dozens of knives all day, if more than 2 people suggest driving, it is good to start early, Especially on Sundays in New York, many free parking spaces. Disadvantages: The equipment is old, the breakfast is too simple, and it ends at 9 o'clock. In addition to breakfast time, no boiling water is provided, not convenient.

We stayed here for a night before taking an early morning flight. Clean room and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is about 10 mins. drive to and from the Liberty International Airport. Free hotel shuttle runs every 30mnts. from the hotel. The shuttle is shared with Home2 guests as well and drops you off at all terminals(A,B C...). You have to let the hotel front desk know what time you need the shuttle. Hotel offered grab and go breakfast bags if you have to leave early in the morning if the breakfast area is closed. I arrived at Newark Liberty International Airport late at night and felt uncomfortable going straight to Manhattan, so I stayed for one night because it was near the airport. There was also a shuttle bus, so I took it from the airport for free. From the airport to the shuttle bus zone It can be a bit difficult, so search in advance for directions. Since my flight arrived late at night, I checked in even though I went after 00:00. A deposit of $50 is required. Cash/card both accepted. Since it is a Hilton-affiliated hotel, you can check in online by installing the app, and you can use your smartphone as a room key. I just received a card key. Perhaps because I got a king room, the room was very spacious. The amenities weren't bad either. However, there is no toothpaste, toothbrush, razor, or foam cleansing, so take them with you. Breakfast seemed to be included in all rooms, and although it was simple, it was very delicious. The TV in the room was also a smart TV and could be connected wirelessly to the iPad I brought, which was very convenient. The downside was that the bathtub was too small? And the soundproofing is not very good (I heard a lot of cars outside rather than sounds from other rooms). Actually, I was so tired that I passed out without paying any attention to it. I left a $1 tip. If you paid a deposit in cash when checking out, please return it at checkout and the card will be automatically canceled after checkout. To go to Manhattan, I took the hotel shuttle to Newark Liberty International Airport and then used the airtrain. Excellent value for money accommodation!

I stayed here the night before an early flight out of Newark. The front desk lady, had a great attitude and she was so friendly and helpful. She assisted me with a food delivery driver that was “lost” and when he never showed, she gave me a tip to a restaurant that would deliver. She proactively got me set up on the airport shuttle. The morning of my flight, the two ladies working in the lobby greeted me and offered to assist me with the shuttle. They offered a to go snack since I was leaving before breakfast. Then they chatted with me and other guests waiting for the shuttle. The hotel was sparkly clean and smelled nice and fresh. There was tea/coffee and cookies in the lobby and snacks for purchase.

The staff are amazing. Great people, friendly and happy to help with any issues. Located really close to Newark Penn for easy access to NYC on the path train. Rooms are decent size and comfortable. Breakfast was ok but simple. Safe location for Newark

Nice hotel, but not in a good neighborhood and no restaurants or amenities nearby. Room was nice - king bed, sectional sofa for watching big screen TV, desk with task chair, little area with coffee maker and min fridge, plus standard bathroom with glass shower stall. Comfortable and quiet. Had a nice Starbucks coffee, bacon egg sandwich and a juice. Bit expensive but good. Otherwise nice hotel, just Uber as the parking garage or lot is not attached to hotel.

Lesson learned……a reservation is never a guarantee that they will keep your room!! I booked this hotel because it was close to the airport and my west coast flight would be getting in late. The flight was delayed (as many are right now). I called the hotel to inform them of my late arrival and ask them if there was anything i needed to fo. They receptionist said they would make a note of my late arrival. At 12:30am i arrive to check in…..only to be greeted by the RUDE Phyllis who informed me that they gave my room away. I said “but I called ro tell yoh I was coming late,” Didn’t matter!!!! They were over sold and I had to scramble for a hotel room at 1am in a city I’ve never been to before!!! Do not stay here!!!

Arrived at Newark Airport late on a Sunday evening only to find we’d forgotten to pack our apartment keys, so we were going to have to find a hotel. The nearest was Marriott Newark Airport, but they didn’t have a vacancy. The staff there were very helpful and found us a room at the nearby Marriott Courtyard to which they had a 24-hr shuttle bus. The accommodation was excellent and the staff again very helpful and polite. Faultless service in finding a solution for us at such short notice. Thoroughly recommended!
