Brilliant day! Lovely staff, and the spa was so nice thank you. Will definitely be returning!! We had the sandwich and soup afterwards at the hotel Restaurant which was very reasonable and very nice, would definitely recommend! Brill day with the girls

The suite we had was totally amazing. Spacious, very clean and catered for all our needs….and more. The only reason I haven’t given it 5 was because even though the breakfasts were lovely, the organisation of breakfast was a bit of a shambles. We had lunch twice in the hotel and that was a different story…. Efficient and great food. We came to Cumbria for a wedding at a nearby Estate, if we ever had to come to that area again, we wouldn’t hesitate to book the Swan… and the same room!!!

The Swan is in a lovely location, we booked a Superior Suite which was one of the best hotels rooms that we have ever booked. The staff were a delight, I have only marked it down because breakfast was a bit disorganised, a long wait for a cup of coffee and someone to take an order

Very friendly - great food and drinks - cosy and warm - set alongside the beautiful river. We used the Spa and being in the jacuzzi gazing at the mountains was just stunning! Looking forward to going back for an overnight stay in Christmas. I think it will be beautiful at Christmas time nestled by a log burner in one of their snug corners.

Lovely spa day with beautiful views of the lakes! Facial was stunning & relaxing! They used products they thought would be best for my skin type from the survey before the treatment. Along with lovely afternoon tea to finish the day off! Great staff, very helpful. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend!

I would like to thank Karen for making the swimming pool & spa area a pleasure to visit. Your efforts haven’t gone unnoticed & a credit that staff care this much and enjoy keeping the place sparkly. Great location right on the river front, roaring fires, fresh flowers & peace.

I went for a family meal to the Swan Inn to celebrate my sister’s birthday, but we all wish we’d have gone somewhere else. Two people ordered the beef shin, which was so full of gristle in was inedible. The staff kindly took these two meals off the bill, but that didn’t make up for the poor food. Another person had the burger and the other fish and chips, both of which were totally bland and tasteless. The service staff were pleasant enough, but the service was so slow that we decided not to have dessert because we knew we’d be waiting forever. Also, the non alcoholic beer on draft had run out and there was no other 0% beer available. Overall, not a good experience at all.

We went to for an early evening meal, we had booked but there was no record, however quickly sorted, attentive service, good food. Hotel looks lovely as you enter, we ate in the bar as we had our dog with us. Great location at the end of Windemere. Worth reviewing the Hotel, it looks a great place to stay.

We had a fantastic stay for our 10th wedding anniversary. Staff so friendly , the spa facilities were 5 star. Lovely clean spacious room with a view of the river from our window. Breakfast in the morning again a huge hit. We shall be back thankyou
