The Vermont Hotel & Vermont Aparthotel

Great hotel the rooms are good and service is great. We did have a bit of an issue with not having a physical card with us but staff were super helpful and we were able to solve this and pay the deposit.

The service was amazing, the place was so clean and the people were lovely! The breakfast was also amazing

Well what a little gem of a Hotel. Beautiful location right next to the Castle and near the Quayside. We had a lovely stay, the Staff were fantastic! So helpful and polite and friendly and very very professional. We felt very special and looked after. The hotel is spotlessly clean and our room was lovely. We didn't have any meals there except for breakfast which was tasty and there was plenty of options, the Staff in there again were very lovely and attentive. Saying all this a couple of little ******* the Hotel was so hot! To be fair the weather was beautiful when we were there but there is no air conditioning in the building. I do appreciate it is an older building and it's not always possible to install Air Con Units but a few fans scattered around would have made it a bit more bearable in the public areas . There was a fan provided in our bedroom which was very welcome as the sun facing the windows all day ! We also found the bed not very comfortable, the mattress was too hard for our liking but then this may suit other people so it's not a criticism really of the Hotel more our preference to have a softer mattress. All in all we Would definitely go back to this hotel but I think I would go in the colder months.

Amazing stay over night, room was spotlessly clean, Lovely view, and the even left complimentary mini cakes for my partners Birthday. Thank you :-)

People were friendly but the hotel itself is out-of-date and needs some love. Noisy - like being next to a nightclub until midnight and then noisy people coming back from clubs at 2, 3, and 5am. I don’t recommend if you want to sleep. If you want to party, go for it. Great view of the Tyne Bridge.

We had our wedding at the Vermont on the 23rd May 2024, absolutely fantastic day the hotel couldn't do anything more for us a special shout out to Lukas our wedding coordinator he was outstanding really went above and beyond for us. Also Sarah a member of the team was fantastic, very friendly and nothing was a problem. We had a brilliant day and everyone had an excellent day! Thank you Mr & Mrs Morgan.
