The Adelphi was comfortable and very clean. Maxine, the hostess was very welcoming, accomodating and helpful. The breakfast was good and plentiful. It was also very good value for money. It is very convenient for the Freeman Hospital. We would definitely stay there again.

Had a very nice long weekend hiking in the area, and wanted a clean and informal place to rest up. This place is easy to find, I parked my car on the street outside and was given a parking permit by the owner. Very clean, informal with lovely home cooked breakfast, would deffo stay again.

The place was spotless rooms very big arge comfortable bed lovely shower great host Very friendly and helpful great choice of breakfast not far from city centre plenty of parking we would definitely go back again

This small hotel located in the elegant old Jesmond district of Newcastle was very nice and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable. Breakfast was superb bacon eggs sausages the lot. Maxine was very welcoming and helpful at all times. Guests get a free parking badge to park outside the hotel.

This hotel / B&B is situated approx 20 minutes walk from Haymarket area and 25 minutes from Greys monument shopping area. The road is quite busy for parking but parking permits are available from the hotel for just £1 per night. The room that my wife and I had was large, very comfortable, and had a large bathroom with bath and shower. The owner Maxine, is the most friendly and helpful person. Breakfast was multi-choice, well presented and very tasty. We will definitely be back to stay at this small, very comfortable and very friendly hotel.
