We always enjoy staying at the Osborne hotel. It's good value, clean and comfortable with an excellent Italian restaurant right next door. A couple of things would make it better. Our room (16) had a blind at the window but no curtain . The room was not dark enough for our liking. Secondly, we wish the butter, jam, marmalade etc was loose and not in throwaway plastic.

Put simply, the other positive reviews are entirely accurate. This is a lovely, quiet, clean and super friendly hotel. Great value and the lady who runs breakfast is priceless. What she is being paid, it is not enough. They cater for vegans.

A little gem of a place in Jesmond. Recently refurbished hotel and Italian restaurant. Laura on reception is super friendly and Kiran & Shaz offered up lovely breakfasts in the Italian restaurant. We enjoyed our stay. If you're looking for a nice little hotel, that's clean and tidy, this this is the place. It's close to the local bars and restaurants and not far from Jesmond Dene park

Lovely hotel, would highly recommend, comfy bed, room incredibly clean, modern bathroom with fantastic shower, staff very friendly, especially Laura, who made us feel extremely welcome, Breakfast lovely, bacon was amazing, would definitely stay again xx

Came with my fiance , beautiful welcoming reception/bar area , restaurant is modern. All members of staff we came across were so welcoming and very helpful made our stay more enjoyable. Room was lovely and clean, comfy bed, just hated the amount of stairs I had to walk up to get to it lol. We opted for the full English at breakfast nice ingredients used not cheap sausage and bacon like some places really enjoyed it, you do have the option to take a breakfast sandwich to your room if you wish. Definitely would stay here again.

SO accommodating! Our B&B let us down. We 'ambushed' Osborne. They were cheaper - and able to accommodate us for 3 nights (with one room-move). Wonderful food; such friendly staff. Very quiet; very comfortable. And right next-door to Dosa Kitchen (also excellent !) 10-mins from Metro: what could be more convenient?
