Very nice hotel, right by the river. The waiter specially arranged a room with a view of the bridge for us. Any problems were solved promptly and the attitude was very enthusiastic. The restaurant was also good and the Italian food was amazing.

Let me start with the conclusion: I checked in in early October, and the air conditioner and phone in the room were broken, making it very cold all night. After going downstairs and communicating with the front desk many times, the staff just asked us to wait for it to get hot. After waiting for two hours without success, we changed the room. We were changed from the room with balcony to the disabled room without consent. After replacement, the air conditioner still didn't work and it was freezing all night.

This is a hotel I like very much. It feels like a modern 4-star hotel by domestic standards. Parking is convenient, 15 per day. The catering on the G floor is pretty good, including British brunch. In the evening, it's a restaurant and bar with a great a**osphere. Friends who smoke strongly recommend the lawn terrace room on the first floor. It is very comfortable to have a few drinks on the terrace at night while watching the night view of the Tyne River. The hotel is right downstairs by the River Tyne, and it's not far from Newcastle Castle and several bridges on foot (the Millennium Bridge is further away).
