Stayed for 3 nights with family, nice size room even with an extra bed. Very friendly staff, nice view of the Tyne river from our room. A little noisy from smokers outside but nothing crazy. Plenty of restaurants nearby, Quayside has a lovely Sunday market.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, hotel clean, comfy and breakfast fantastic. We stayed at the Doubletree at airport on our last night (early flight) and the Premier Inn exceeded the Doubletree on all levels.

Returned here after a previous trip to be helped by the same member of staff named Eddie. He is welcoming, warm, kind and helpful. Having had a great experience on our last visit we returned to receive the same excellent service. Eddie is an asset to this large organisation, giving a personal touch usually experienced at smaller independently owned hotels.

I just stayed here from work for about the third time in the last year and felt obliged to write a very complimentary review as it has been an excellent experience on each occasion! The rooms are really comfortable, the staff extremely pleasant and the breakfasts are a cut above! Highly recommended 👍

As always the Prem`s never fail to impress or satisfy in my personal opinion and experience. Stayed in dozens around the country whilst working away and this one in Newcastle was just perfect for all needed on a night away for a concert. Staff were amazing and friendly and the service was spot on.

Once again an excellent Premier Inn. Very helpful staff. Room was very clean and the usual comfortable bed. Will stay here again when visiting Newcastle. Easy access to the Glasshouse where we went to see Rob Brydon, who was also brilliant.

Great views overlooking the River Tyne, and all the busy Quayside has to offer on your doorstep. The hotel is set back from the main Quayside, so it’s a nice and quiet location for a great night’s sleep. Clean, modern, well maintained - and the biggest credit of this hote is the staff. They are all so friendly, welcoming and so helpful. It was a joy. We would definitely stay here again. We cannot recommend it enough for a city break to Newcastle.

Absolutely shocking customer service, me and my mate had booked a room, the room clearly stated a double bed and a sofa bed, on arrival the sofa bed didn’t have any bedding on it, we went down to reception and asked for some bedding, point blank refused us any, the young lad and girl said he would get in trouble with his manager if he gave us any? How? Trouble for what? All staff were very miserable and it seemed like they really did not want to be there.
