1. Rooms are worn down and filthy. Neither blankets nor towels not clean. This place benefits from its location but the existing rooms are in dire need of renovations. And then they still would need to be kept clean. 2. Food was not good. Everyone of our group (2 tourists plus 2 Indonesians photographers) were sick here. Table cloth seems to not have been changed in weeks - if the kitchen is as “clean” no wonder we all got sick. 3. No coffee during the whole morning. During breakfast there is a big alu can with “coffee” written on for self-service. Don’t be fooled: that is no coffee; it is essentially slightly warm brown water. There is a real machine standing on the counter - but it cannot apparently not be used prior to 11 o’clock. Seriously, why? 4. Wifi hotspot exists in the parking lot but is totally unreliable.

Hotel Bromo Pernai is a big hotel in this area (village) and every map shows the name in it.(They say Lava View Hotel is the most expensive in this area.) I quite enjoyed staying there. There is an electric kettle in the room so you can have coffee/instant noodles anytime. There are plenty of power sockets, which is helpful. Not enough space for hanging clothes but there is a big shelf. There is a big TV but I didn't watch it. There is wifi but signal could be weak as you could imagine. Most importantly, I didn't expect a hot water shower  :)  Not sure if there is A/C in the room but it was September, I didn't need it. Breakfast is too simple, though. As all tourists join sunrise tours, breakfast time could be extended till 1030 Breakfast is served between 0700 - 1000. I like this hotel. You can admire the view of Bromo just in front of the hotel. It is About 15 minutes walking distance to the sea of sand but you have to remember that hiking up/down isn't so easy as the air is thin. There are lots of eateries nearby and bakso wagons.  When I asked for a sunrise tour, they offered me  Jeep  650 Guide 250 but I think this is the standard in the village.

Positive points : - Location - Good breakfast, with a pleasant terrace in the sun after climbing the Bromo. Negative points: - Absolutely no soundproofing in rooms. Our neighbors had a baby who spent the night crying and it was as if he was in our room! - No heating even though the nights are very cool. - Unpleasant smell in the bathroom - Cleanliness to be reviewed... (stains on sheets, bathroom not so good...) - Dinner a bit expensive and not very good for the price either =＞ in conclusion, paying more than 120€ a night is extremely expensive ... besides, the staff - although pleasant all the same - don't ask if we've had a good stay, I imagine they must suspect it. If we'd known, we'd probably have gone to a ”standard” hotel and I don't think it would have been any worse!

I have to say that this hotel is good and worth recommending to everyone. First of all, the environment of this hotel is very poor, the location is behind a hotel, it is difficult to find at night. In addition, this hotel is not hygienic, the quilt should never be cleaned, not worth the price of 178. In addition, this hotel is leaking, very cold, a socket outlet, hot water is intermittent. It is worth mentioning that the hotel owner will communicate with the local driver or call ***, so that you can't leave here. You book a grab or other vehicles. Because the boss connects with the outside society, he will stop the car for you. We are asked for nearly 100 yuan before we can leave. Don't come because you don't obey the projects he recommends to you. In order not to be deleted, my speech is more cautious, must be cautious, this hotel is really not worth it, fast escape, the Chinese do not lie to the Chinese.

The house has a sense of history and the facilities are a bit old. Overall, the first night's experience was very good. Maybe it was because I arrived very late, it was like seeing a castle in a dream. And got up to see the volcano without sleeping for a few hours. There are Muslim chanters outside at night, which I personally like, and it adds to the overall atmosphere of the building. However, I made a temporary reservation on the second night and changed to a more expensive standard deluxe room. This night was very bad. First of all, the room is large and the roof is very high, which means the temperature is very low. The quilt is very thin and there is no air conditioning. The blanket is small and pitiful. And facing the street, the sound of motorcycles on the mountain road outside (local residents use motorcycles as their main means of transportation) can be heard one after another one night. The second thing I want to complain about is their buffet breakfast. It is the worst breakfast I have ever eaten in a hotel where the room rate is 2,000 yuan a night. And the flies keep coming, I don’t know why they don’t take measures. It is not recommended to go to their SPA. I had a temporary change of schedule and had half a day to spare. Also, because I had to drive late at night the day before, I went out to climb a volcano at 2 a.m. My body couldn't bear it anymore, so I made an appointment at the SPA. The word cold, from beginning to end, cold has been running through my feelings. The press is very average. It is estimated that the store owner did not expect this spa to become the main decoration. As a result, I stepped in😅 But I have to say, the scenery is beautiful. Those who love to see the scenery and ignore the temperature can experience it. (Photos will be posted later)

It is closer to bromo, so it will be cheaper to rent a jeep along this route. The room facilities are relatively old. It may have been a relatively large resort in the past, and the rooms at the back were abandoned. But we just rested for a few hours, had hot water, and used the toiletries we brought with us, which was enough. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and only cost more than 30 yuan.

The village of Lawan, where Mount Bromo is located, is quite large, but the hotels in the village are average, most of them have no hot water, and the mountain is relatively cold. The Semarang Indah is relatively good. First of all, the location is good. I saw the volcano, followed by hot water, but the water was very small, and we could barely take a bath. It was much more comfortable to catch a plane and a car for a day. There was a free breakfast the next day, and I saw guests in several rooms Check in. The hotel rooms are quite small. When you stay in the homestay, there is no toiletries, but you can buy them locally, it's only one night, but the Mount Bromo scenery is very beautiful and it is worth going.
