Very good hotel located in the center of Nice. Everything is within walking distance. Only a few steps to the Promenade des Anglais. Very comfortable beds, well organized room. Breakfast in a restaurant on the 8th floor with a view of the roof of Nice. A very rich breakfast buffet with hot dishes (scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon) and cold meats, delicious cheeses, vegetables, fruits and excellent sweet pastries and jams. The only minus is the poor quality coffee.
Comfortable lobby with plenty of places to sit. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use the pool and spa. The overall very good impression of the hotel was spoiled by the unsympathetic and unhelpful reception staff. Check-in took a very long time and was the worst experience of staying at this hotel. The breakfast service was very good, helpful and nice.

We stayed at Hotel Splendid for 4 nights, we asked for a quiet room and that's what we got, it was at the back of the hotel, not a great view but a nice little balcony that got the afternoon sun. A bit of updating in the rooms would be nice but they are clean and the bed was very comfortable and bathroom was spotless, I would of preferred a different hairdryer but that's just me being fussy, the ones on the wall take a long time to dry my thick hair. Staff are wonderful , all are polite and helpful and big shout out to Juliana on reception she is so friendly .Breakfast was plentiful and a good selection. The rooftop restaurant/pool are a bonus. I will definitely be returning to this hotel.

I loved the Amenities the hotel had as well as the free bar and daily free refill. The sauna and gym was good however, I would have liked to have seen a little more variety.
Unfortunately my room's cleanliness was a slight let down with some of the information sheets having spill marks of sodas and some spillage stains on the carpet.

Despite the hotel being classified as “destination charging” by Tesla, the terminals do not work and the hotel still charges €25 for parking without providing a service that is obliged to provide. The management didn't want to know anything and made me pay for parking and I had to move the car elsewhere to be able to load it. Average and noisy room.

This is a really nice hotel. The room we were upgraded to had a balcony, was big, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and charming — always wishing you, ‘Good day’ or ‘Good night’. The walk to the centre takes about 15 minutes but there are lots of good restaurants and shops immediately around the place. The sea is a five minute walk. We felt looked after and relaxed. The rooftop bar has great views across the city and the rooftop pool, while small, must be blissful in the summer.
The only very slight negative was the slim shower screen that made it difficult not to wet the bathroom floor.
All in all a super hotel.
