In order to watch the Carnival parade, we specially booked a garden-view balcony room, which is right next to the parade route. You can watch it without buying a ticket. In fact, the sea-view room has a better view. But because it's along the street, it's very noisy at night. There are too many motorcycles in Nice, so don't book it if you are sensitive to noise. The hotel is actually very small and there is no refrigerator in the room. The attitude of the front desk and breakfast staff was pretty good. The location is very central, close to the seaside and the old town.

Reception, smell of cold and dilapidated kitchen.
1st bedroom 105 between the office and the kitchen which means noise and smell.
Noisy staff, from 6 a.m.
2nd bedroom 402 stuck between the pillows and the headboard, used tissues and to top it off, the fire alarm which went off at 5am.
