I feel so bad I'm posting this. I was glad I read the reviews, but when I actually came here I realized that all the recent reviews are probably fake. Let's start with the meal, which I thought was the worst. Even though the number of dishes was quite small, it took 20 minutes for the first dish to arrive, and then another 20 minutes for the second dish, so the waiting time was much longer than it would have taken to eat at that pace. The number of dishes was so small that when we ordered two servings of diced steak, it took about 30 minutes for only one serving to arrive. When I asked the staff, they were like, "Two servings, one for each person?" "More rice?" "What?" I was surprised that they hire staff who don't even know what "two servings" means. When the steaks arrived 30 minutes later, they were just cut and set out with no seasoning, so I asked the Japanese man if they had any sauce, and he responded but didn't say anything and just left, never to return. Then, when another table ordered steak, they brought the sauce, so I asked them what was going on, and they said they forgot and would bring the next serving. I was extremely annoyed, thinking that this was unacceptable considering I had already paid separately. They brushed me off, and another 30 minutes passed, and the other forgotten steak still hadn't arrived. Finally, I asked about it, but they just kept insisting they'd check. 90 minutes had already passed since we left the dining room. Finally, they brought the steak with sauce. Who was responsible for the previous meat? Two hours had passed by when the main course arrived. How did they manage to serve less than 10 dishes so quickly? I want my meal refunded. I won't go back, even if they pay me. I had high hopes because the reviews were so good, but the water in the women's bathroom was clogged, and there was only one small hot spring, with all sorts of dead creatures floating around. There were no disposable slippers or refrigerators in the room. It seemed like it was just a nice-looking place, but I was only there to sleep, so I'm not really happy with the price. I heard it's a ryokan that's over 100 years old, but the customer service and customer service were terrible. I definitely don't recommend it because there are better places for 100,000 yen for three people.
