Amazing outdoor baths, charming indoor spaces, and a great dinner. Our log cabin-style room was also spotless and pleasant, no complaints and hope to be back someday again. :)

Amazing experience out in the woods. Perfect for families and couples as you can go into onsen together. Women typically wear a towel in the mixed onsen, while men use a small towel for modesty while walking between baths. Lunch is available in the main hall. Stunning breakfast and dinner in dining room. Waterfall right next to the outdoor baths, great view.

Aside from the slightly lower hygiene compared to the hot spring hotels in tourist areas, which is unavoidable given the abundance of insects in the mountains, the lack of shops in the surrounding area is a major advantage. Highly recommended.

I feel so bad I'm posting this. I was glad I read the reviews, but when I actually came here I realized that all the recent reviews are probably fake. Let's start with the meal, which I thought was the worst. Even though the number of dishes was quite small, it took 20 minutes for the first dish to arrive, and then another 20 minutes for the second dish, so the waiting time was much longer than it would have taken to eat at that pace. The number of dishes was so small that when we ordered two servings of diced steak, it took about 30 minutes for only one serving to arrive. When I asked the staff, they were like, "Two servings, one for each person?" "More rice?" "What?" I was surprised that they hire staff who don't even know what "two servings" means. When the steaks arrived 30 minutes later, they were just cut and set out with no seasoning, so I asked the Japanese man if they had any sauce, and he responded but didn't say anything and just left, never to return. Then, when another table ordered steak, they brought the sauce, so I asked them what was going on, and they said they forgot and would bring the next serving. I was extremely annoyed, thinking that this was unacceptable considering I had already paid separately. They brushed me off, and another 30 minutes passed, and the other forgotten steak still hadn't arrived. Finally, I asked about it, but they just kept insisting they'd check. 90 minutes had already passed since we left the dining room. Finally, they brought the steak with sauce. Who was responsible for the previous meat? Two hours had passed by when the main course arrived. How did they manage to serve less than 10 dishes so quickly? I want my meal refunded. I won't go back, even if they pay me. I had high hopes because the reviews were so good, but the water in the women's bathroom was clogged, and there was only one small hot spring, with all sorts of dead creatures floating around. There were no disposable slippers or refrigerators in the room. It seemed like it was just a nice-looking place, but I was only there to sleep, so I'm not really happy with the price. I heard it's a ryokan that's over 100 years old, but the customer service and customer service were terrible. I definitely don't recommend it because there are better places for 100,000 yen for three people.

Beautiful environment! The hot spring scenery is beautiful! But the location is too remote. It takes almost five to six hours from Narita Airport! The room was clean, the water pressure in the large bath was very low, and the staff were of varying quality, all of them seemed to be trainees in training! I would definitely not recommend the quality of the food! There was also a leaking canopy on the road from the lobby restaurant to the rooms, and four to five people fell down in one day! There is no improvement yet, it is very dangerous! The overall staff's adaptability is very poor!

If you want to enjoy a real hot spring and don't want to be crowded like dumplings, this is definitely worth going. This time I met a ********* waitress, and there was no pressure to communicate. Moreover, most of them were local Japanese people. I praised this hotel. The autumn leaves should be great too. I will definitely go again if I have the chance.

The service is really good, the dinner and breakfast are also very exquisite, and the snow scenery is particularly beautiful, but the transportation is really troublesome. If you go, you must set off early. We set off from Machida at 8 o'clock and finally arrived very thrillingly. The hot spring is very good, and the open-air scenery is particularly beautiful! ! ! The way up the mountain is beautiful and you can see wild animals such as deer and monkeys!
