There is no luggage storage service, neither before check-in nor after check-out. Only the paid lockers at the door are available. They are quite large, but there is a risk of them being robbed.
I booked a single room with its own bathroom. The common large bath is very small and can basically only accommodate two people. It is very inconvenient. If the price allows, it is recommended to book a private room.

Location is super, very near to Nikko Station, room is adequate if traveling with very light bag pack. Hotel has a small onsen facility (bathhouse), do check with the counter staff on the operating hours. There are nearby super-mart (family mart is just across the road and another one within walking distance) which makes it great to get snacks for the night. Shops/cafe closes relatively early.

The place is good as a place to sleep. Has a lift that is good for large luggage. Also has a common bath, nice to soak in.
Only downside is the size of the rooms and that the staff don't have a good command of English. Might be abit hard to communicate with them. Also has a cleaning fee that had to paid upfront for the rooms which is not part of the trip booking. Abit of a surprise there.

The hotel is a backpacker bed type with shared bathrooms and private bathrooms in separate rooms. It is fully equipped and the place is clean and tidy. The only drawback is that the price is a bit high. It is more expensive than a budget hotel in Ikebukuro, so the price/performance ratio is not high.
