Very straight lady owner. Only give one exact time for breakfast and dinner. No English nor putongha, only Japanese.

Very rigid owner to request exact time for breakfast and dinner, which is really unnecessary . Guest may eat slow or quick.
Not for sake of guests convenient but her own convenient only. The two ********* ladies helping her is good. Could speak Englisnd and Mandarin.

We enjoyed very much staying at the pension. It was situated close to the bus station and with beautiful scenery of the lake. The host were very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the dinner very much.
It was a wonderful experience staying in the pension.

Bomb, dinner and breakfast are delicious. 2 onsen to choose from. The rooms are large.

Staying here went really well with the vibe of visiting Nikko. It was cozy, quiet, and warm. We didn't expect that there would be so much food for the dinner and breakfast courses! It was delicious, and I liked that since the place only had a few people, it was almost an intimate experience. The private bath that automatically came with the stay was a refreshing way to end a whole day of walking around Nikko. I would gladly stay here again.

I stayed at Twin for one night with the Tochigi Wari discount of 10,000 yen and a 4,000 yen coupon. Although it feels old, the size of the room, the view from the room, the bath, and the food are wonderful, but it has not kept up with recent global warming, and the temperature in the room without AC can easily reach over 30 degrees in the summer when the afternoon sun is strong. More than half of the rooms have a great view, but now a huge hotel has been built in front of them.
